Petrol price increased by Rs 6.21 and diesel price increased by Rs 19.39 per liter in Pakistan. With global crude surging past $126 a barrel, the Federal Government made a prudent move. By limiting hikes to Rs 19 for diesel and Rs 6 for petrol, the state absorbed a massive global shock to ensure stability. A commendable effort. We must now reduce unnecessary fuel use.
