In the Afghan jihad against the USSR, Pakistan’s role was that of a CIA fixer-for-rent, nothing more. The CIA supplied weapons, Arabs pushed the ideology, Afghans fought and paid in blood and glory. Pakistan, as always, was a leech, feeding on U.S. $ to fatten its military regime, a habit that continues in new forms to this day. Now Pakistanis are trying to leech off Afghan sacrifice by stealing credit it never earned. First missiles were named after Afghan heroes, then Afghan culture and cuisine is claimed as "Pakistani" and now even Afghan victories are claimed (a very zionist-y behavior). Why? Because in eight decades Pakistan has produced little to boast about beyond being a hired gun and someone’s proxy. History is recorded and ISPR propaganda will change nothing.

There is a special category of people. They praise Pakistan's token celebrations of Christmas/Diwali as heartwarming tolerance. They're also quick to deride Afghans as 'Hindus' for merely speaking to Indians. The fake Islamic zeal and tolerance are two sides of one bullshit coin.
