@FrStephenImb That's an interesting point, and I'll give it some thought. I don't care about Israel or Jews any more than I care about Malaysia and whatever their religion is, except that we (the US gov) appear to be funding a genocide in Gaza by Israelis.

I dare say if there was no Jewish homeland everybody would be complaining that the Jews were spread out all over the world and that we needed to put them in one place to keep an eye on them. Of course, many people think it should be concentration camps. I find this whole obsession with Israel quite telling considering most people obsessed with Israel speak very little of daily pre-born mass murder. Skewed priorities.

You might spend three hours trying to get a specific game or a piece of Adobe software to run because it wasn't built for Linux. That’s three hours of your life you aren't getting back. The reason people love it despite the stress is Ownership. Windows is like a rental apartment where you can't paint the walls, and the landlord (Microsoft) checks in on you constantly to see what you're doing. Linux is a plot of land where have to build the walls yourself, and the plumbing might leak at first, but nobody is watching you, and you own every single nail.

What is especially disheartening about Trump’s decision to declare war on his own is that he was elected in large part because he promised not to do that. In fact, he sharply criticized prior presidents who did. This betrayal ends any hope of reversing this dangerous precedent.

If -- as Trump again said last night -- MAGA means nothing more than featly to whatever Trump believes when he wakes up (even if it's the exact opposite of what he said he believed the day before), then it is, by definition, a cult, not a political movement. That's why @FmrRepMTG has said there's a fundamental difference between MAGA (a cult of personality and leader-worship) and America First (a fixed set of ideological values).

By launching this illegal war of aggression against Iran, Donald Trump has betrayed the American people and his own base, none of whom wanted this. He has sided with Lindsay Graham, Mark Levin and Benjamin Netanyahu, the most despised laughingstocks on the planet. By announcing that this is indeed a regime change war (as anyone paying attention and being honest has known all along) he has tied his entire legacy to this action. If he isn’t able to achieve a regime change, he will have killed a bunch of people for no reason. If the regime does fall, we have already admitted that we have no one to install and without boots on the ground, it is difficult to install a regime even if you had someone. Trump will be responsible for what comes next- the thing war hawks never consider.

I never, ever, thought this day would come, but for the first time in my life, I am going to compare a human being to Adolph Hitler: Understand that I am the grandchild of 4 Holocaust survivors.
