@Robblps @AerLingus I got a response on my claim. They are not covering any costs incurred outside of the price of the original flight on Sept 10th. I had to pay $1600 for a new flight (united) to NY and a car rental. Neither is being reimbursed. Sickening

@croakmcd I got a bill for $540 for two separate covid tests in 2020. They put down that they drew blood at these visits when it was strictly covid tests. Absolute scam. Hoping BCBS can fight this for me

@lek1982 @Gothamist I did the same thing and I'm kicking myself for giving them insurance info. $540 they are trying to get from me. No way am I paying it, but trying to get BCBS to fight it for me is really tough

Booked a United flight back to Newark tomorrow ($1300) and had to rent a car in lieu of a hotel in Dublin because I simply couldn't get one (drove back to my parents house down the country) $450 for a two day rental. Better get reimbursed

Fly non-direct (if necessary) on any airline or combination of airlines; keep your receipts, keep costs reasonable, they have to reimburse you for flights, hotels, food, drink, and transfers under EU261 regs.; it's not your problem, it's very theirs

@PaddyBestest @AerLingus Least yous got airborne, I was meant to be on the JFK flight with my Mrs and two kids and they told us definitely it was cancelled and to go home. Got home to discover it had departed. Absolutely disgraceful @AerLingus, my Mrs hasn't seen her family in 3 years.

@ItsDrGrandmaTo1 @JohnCleese I used it as a title in the US Navy. No derogatory intent at all. People get bent out of shape over words when there is no offense intended.

I see a suggestion that using the word 'Chief' somehow insults Native Americans I'm not sure how, but that's another matter... In reality, the word derives from the Old French, and dates from around 1300s - some time before English speakers knew of its North American usage
