A joyous moment for every Indian! Chola Copper Plates dating back to the 11th Century will be repatriated to India from the Netherlands. Took part in the ceremony for the same in the presence of Prime Minister Rob Jetten. The Chola Copper Plates are a set of 21 large plates and 3 small plates and largely contain texts in Tamil, one of the most beautiful languages of the world. They relate to the great Rajendra Chola I formalising an oral commitment made by his father, King Rajaraja I. They also showcase the greatness of the Cholas. We in India are immensely proud of the Cholas, their culture and their maritime prowess. I thank the Government of the Netherlands and Leiden University in particular, where the Copper Plates were kept since the mid-19th century. @MinPres

நமக்கொரு சந்தேகம் எழுவது இயல்பு. அதாவது,
அனைத்து இந்துக்களும், இந்து கோவிலுக்குள் சமமாக செல்ல உரிமையில்லை என சொன்னது யார்? முஸ்லீம்களா, கிருத்துவர்களா? பெரியாரிஸ்டுகளா? அல்லது கம்யூனிஸ்டுகளா?
அதையும் சொல்லிவிட்டால், நமக்கு வேலை எளிதாகிவிடும்
கோவிலுக்குள் அனைத்து இந்துக்களும் செல்லக்கூடாதென தடுத்தது குரானோ, பைபிளோ அல்ல, அதைச் சொன்னது 'ஸனாதனம்'.
அதாவது, தமிழன் கட்டிய கோவிலில், தமிழன் வழிபடவோ, தமிழ் மொழியில் வழிபாடோ செய்ய உரிமையில்லை எனச் சொன்னது 'ஸனாதனம்'.
இந்த ஸனாதனத்தினை காப்பாற்றத் தான் சங்கிகள் ஒப்பாறி வைக்கிறார்கள்.

சமூக சீர்திருத்தவாதியும், சிறந்த சுதந்திர போராட்ட வீரருமான திரு.வைத்தியநாத ஐயர் அவர்களின் பிறந்தநாள் இன்று. அனைத்து தரப்பு மக்களுக்கும் ஆலய உரிமை கிடைக்க வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக, 1939-ஆம் ஆண்டு வரலாற்றுச் சிறப்புமிக்க மதுரை மீனாட்சி அம்மன் ஆலய நுழைவுப் போராட்டத்தை அவர் வெற்றிகரமாக முன்னின்று நடத்தினார். இதற்குப் பக்கபலமாக நின்று, "ஆலய நுழைவை தடுப்பவர்களை நான் பார்த்துக்கொள்கிறேன்" என பசும்பொன் முத்துராமலிங்கத் தேவர் அவர்கள் அளித்த துணிச்சலான ஆதரவும் அரவணைப்பும் இந்த வரலாற்றுச் சாதனைக்கு முத்தாய்ப்பாக அமைந்தது. மேடைக்கு மேடை சமூக நீதி பேசிய நீதிக் கட்சி ஆட்சியில் கூட நடக்காத இந்த ஆலய நுழைவு உரிமை, திரு.வைத்தியநாத ஐயர் அவர்களின் அயராத முயற்சியாலும், தேவர் அவர்களின் அரணாலும் மட்டுமே சாத்தியமானது என்பது மறுக்க முடியாத உண்மை. அனைவரையும் இறைவனின் சந்நிதியில் சமமாக நிறுத்திய இவர்களின் இந்தச் செயல், சனாதன தர்மத்தின் உண்மையான மாண்பை உலகுக்கு உணர்த்துகிறது. சனாதன தர்மம் என்பது ஏற்றத்தாழ்வுகளைக் கற்பிப்பதல்ல; அனைவரையும் சமமாக அரவணைப்பதே ஆகும். இன்று சனாதன தர்மத்தைத் தவறாகச் சித்தரித்து அரசியல் வியாபாரம் செய்யும் உதயநிதி, முஸ்தபா போன்ற நபர்களுக்கு திரு.வைத்தியநாத ஐயர் மற்றும் முத்துராமலிங்க தேவர் ஐயா போன்ற தேசபக்தர்களின் சமூகப் பணியே மிகச் சிறந்த பதிலடி. அவரின் பிறந்தநாளில் அவர் ஆற்றிய மாபெரும் சீர்திருத்தப் பணிகளை நினைவுகூர்ந்து வணங்குவோம்! #SanathanaDharma
