“My reaction to the guilty plea tendered today by my former husband is difficult to put into words. I am angry, hurt, sad and very distressed about the impact of his actions on family, friends and the SNP.
To be deceived and let down by a husband I loved and trusted has caused me acute pain. Why he acted as he did is, and always will be, beyond my comprehension.
To be clear: I had no knowledge or suspicion whatsoever that he was using SNP funds for personal purposes. I am utterly appalled that he did so and cannot begin to understand why. That I was fully cleared after a thorough investigation underlines that these are not my crimes. I was misled just as others were.
I know that there will be political discussion in light of what has happened, and I understand why. However, for me this has also been a profound personal trauma. I need to remain focussed on recovering from that and building a new phase of life. I will be making no further comment.”

Follow the logic.
Women are deluded and naive for thinking predatory and violent men can be kept out of women-only spaces. ‘They can rape you anywhere.’
However, trans-identified men can only be safe in women-only spaces, because no abuser would ever follow them in there.

C!s women get "clocked" as trans and harassed/kicked out of women's restrooms more regularly than trans women do. Trans rights are and have always been EVERYONE'S problem.

I once asked a Christian lady a simple but uncomfortable question.
If you were placed in a building with 100 non Muslim men in Hall A
and 100 practicing Muslim men in Hall B
and you had to spend one full week in one of those halls…
Which would you choose?
She picked Hall B without hesitation.
Not because Muslim men are angels.
Not because every Muslim is perfect.
But because deep down, even many non Muslims know what Islam teaches men.
Lower your gaze.
Control your desires.
Respect women.
Do not touch what does not belong to you.
Fear God even when nobody is watching.
A man who truly follows Islam does not see every woman as an object to conquer.
He sees self control as strength.
Discipline as masculinity.
Respect as worship.
The tragedy is that extremists and hypocrites have damaged the image of Muslim men so badly that people forget what Islam actually teaches.
A real Muslim man is not dangerous to women.
He is supposed to be a source of safety for them.
And whether people admit it or not…
the world still secretly respects disciplined men.

You can offer them a platinum private toilet just for them. A private throne. It won’t matter. They will refuse.
This has never been about safety. It’s all a con. They are lying when they say it is. Grant them the safest, most private alternative and they won’t use it.
This is about forcing themselves into someone else’s space. Not about getting a space for themselves.
Just ask. You’ll see. Offer them their own space at considerable money and see the response. Try it.

The Trans issue is like napalm in the UK because it takes everything STALE and DEADENING in the British psyche and mixes it together.

This isn’t really about trans women. It’s about the UK’s social decline. It’s a country that has gone backwards from the cool class mobility of the Spice Girls to something fearful and controlling.
I’m not sure what the best of British culture is, but what we’re seeing is the ass end of it. It’s literally Gamergate with dreadful middle-aged women.

@Irmenberga @donmcgowan That’s so true. When your degree doesn’t get you the job you want, or that job doesn’t measure up, you can go in to teaching, bc you have a degree it gets you into the 2nd year. I know 2 people who have done this, and one of them hates kids.

Women’s rights aren’t threatened by trans people existing. They’re threatened by the same kind of fear-based rhetoric that’s always been used to divide people into ‘real’ and ‘less than.’
Nobody loses their womanhood because a trans person is acknowledged, included, or treated with dignity. Equality isn’t a pie where respecting one group somehow takes something away from another.
And reducing trans people to ‘a man who thinks he’s a woman’ says less about biology and more about a refusal to treat human beings with basic empathy

Pride Month exists because LGBTQIA+ people spent generations being jailed, beaten, fired, disowned, denied marriage, denied healthcare, and treated like they were less than human simply for existing.
It’s not about “special rights.”
It’s about equal rights, dignity, safety, and the freedom to live openly without fear.
No one “chooses” a life that comes with bullying, discrimination, rejection, and violence just for attention. Pride exists because too many people still think hatred is morality.

The psychological abuse part of the trans rights movement, in my view, is this pattern:
Women say: “Male people have harmed us, we need boundaries.”
Then they are told: “Your boundary is hateful.”
Women say: “We need words for our sexed reality.”
Then they are told: “Your words are exclusionary.”
Women say: “We need privacy from male bodies.”
Then they are told: “Your discomfort is bigotry.”
That is a coercive loop. It takes women’s protective instincts and reframes them as moral defects. It turns self-defense into sin. Lovely little ideological trap.
Making women into demons the second men don’t like our boundaries is psychological abuse and DARVO.

So because a minority exists, they should stay invisible and quietly accept discrimination? That’s not how equal rights work.
Women are 50% of the population and still needed movements, awareness months, and legal protections because being a majority never guaranteed equality. Veterans are a tiny percentage of Americans too should we stop recognizing them because they’re not 99% of the population?
And what laws are “hurting” the other 98% exactly?
The ability for LGBTQ people to marry, exist openly, be represented in media, or not be fired for who they are doesn’t take a single right away from you.
The obsession some people have with policing a group that just wants to live openly says far more about them than it does about LGBTQ people.
