The Seattle Storm have announced their 2026 #WNBA roster. They are currently carrying 13 players, as Awa Fam’s contract is temporarily suspended due to her playing overseas. Fam may not join the team until around the end of May.

No surprises on the Seattle Storm availability report ahead of Friday’s opener. Magbegor and Samuelson out with longer term rehabs, Fam still overseas, and Mair (on dev contract) not activated for this game.

You're going to see some teams keep more than 12 main roster players today, and some cut down to 12 even though not all have arrived. It's due to cap space. If you have space to temp suspend missing ones and keep a 13th, 14th etc then you can. No space after 12, you can't. #WNBA

The team is still evaluating her exact minutes restriction, but Horston says she is ready and excited no matter how many minutes she gets.

The Chicago Sky have signed guard Natasha Cloud, one of the most high-profile free agents who was still on the market, with sources telling ESPN the deal is for one-year, $555,000.
The Sky have also waived Hailey Van Lith with sources telling @kendra__andrews the reason was based on the coaching staff's "style-of-play preference."
