A heartfelt thank you to the amazing @muriellebaker and @MoreMorganB for hosting me on a personal 50th birthday tour of @RocketLab HQ here in Auckland NZ. I even got my Rocket Lab booked signed by them and Sir Peter Beck! I was able to see Mission Control, the studio were the launch livestream takes place, the factory floor where they are actively assembling Electrons, the desk that @Peter_J_Beck had replicated for the NASDAQ ringing of the bell when they went public during COVID, and the various other Space Systems areas like the clean rooms and where the large reaction wheels are being prepared for shipping to the large mega constellation customer that I still could not get confirmation on, I tried 😄. Every detail in this place was beautiful to perfection, like something out of Star Wars. This, by far, is the busiest Rocket Lab facility I have visited. Work station after work station with engineers at the keyboard, team meetings and discussions, people assembling the various stages of electron, putting the finishing touches on different fairings…SO MUCH ACTIVITY. Everyone was so kind and friendly. GREAT culture. After seeing the pace of work and production at this facility, I’m prepared to keep expanding my investment, rapidly and without reservation. The amount of work being done at this one location alone is no joke. Thank you so very much for such a memorable birthday, they allowed me to do something very special that I can’t quite post about yet. So soooo grateful. To the whole Rocket Lab team, keep up the amazing work! $RKLB #RKLB

This is news to me, I also wouldn’t trust it. Have heard Peter talk about potential for a US west coast launch site in the long term because that would make sense for launch cadence eventually, but no active plans that I’m aware of. Launch sites are insanely intensive and expensive to build. Will ask next interview

I just don’t see any advantage of this, I’d love to hear people’s ideas and try convince me but like why
