Both @NWSSPC and @NWSNorman absolutely nailed last night’s event and kept the OU community (among many others) safe. Now if only @UofOklahoma would just step up and do or say *anything* to support their students, faculty, and staff as they recover.

I did not have the misfortune of attending this presentation, but I sincerely hope @ametsoc and @ousom have the opportunity to reflect upon what was said at #AMS2023.

If anyone feels like his behavior/content during that presentation violated the AMS code of conduct, consider submitting a code of conduct violation! The more people who speak up, the harder is it to ignore!!

@ClimateBecky @ametsoc I submitted a code of conduct violation regarding that professor bc of how he has treated me throughout my graduate career at OU. And they told me it was out of their jurisdiction. It was pretty clear how bad the talk would be from his abstract.
