One reason no one mentions for why MCP “is dead”: every tool response lands directly in context. No routing, no filtering. Big payloads = bloated context fast. CLI doesn’t have that problem. You pipe, you filter, you decide what matters.

I've been shipping products since 2007. The one thing that never got better across any stack, any team, any era — local dev environment management. This became specially painful for us when building @playWAM which has a backend, an api, a front end, other services. So we built the fix and open sourced it. ↓

you are typically not in competition with other startups. this is a common misunderstanding that many many ppl i talk to have. you are not even competing against incumbents. early stage startups are competing against their own psyche more so than in any market.

The European Union cannot have their weekend interrupted. They will get together on Monday to announce that they are continuing to monitor the situation closely.

Following the ongoing situation in Iran, I am convening a special Security College on Monday. For regional security and stability, it is of the utmost importance that there is no further escalation through Iran’s unjustified attacks on partners in the region.

The worst advice for a founder is that a space is too competitive AI Labs have raised hundreds of billions and the smartest people in the world are focused on building AI agents Yet a single guy built a billion dollars of enterprise value in 90 days competing with them all

Hot take: the biggest AI healthcare companies in 2030 won't be the ones with the best models. They'll be the ones who figured out how to get a hospital IT department to say yes. Deployment > intelligence. Every time.

@infi1trate @christophersaum @medoceanai out of 30+ organizations of different sizes we spoke with so far in the EU market, none were aware of a solution like ours. "healthcare conversation tool" is a very broad term, and many use it meaning different things.

Please don’t pitch me your digital twin startup - I’ve already seen 5 today. If you’re an AI-native founder building a non-obvious startup & not the 100th version of the same thing then I'd love to chat. We’re backing at least one new team every month with $100K to $1M checks

@brettcalhounn @medoceanai healthcare conversation intelligence. Healthcare runs on conversations. Clinics spend on ads, then go blind. We analyze every patient call and our agents surface insights + actionable fixes for managers (availability, insurance, agent behavior). Achieved in 4 months: MVP. 150k calls / 300k mins processed. 5 paying clients. 17 in pipeline. Backed by a global healthcare comms group. Raising pre-seed to bring the team full-time and move faster.

@IterIntellectus if it involves a process, and a replicable result I think we'll be able to understand what's the explanation for it. the advantage of AI is that it can explain complicated things in simple ways.

for 400 years science was humanity's project to understand the universe. we are now mass producing knowledge no human can understand. the world is about to become a mystery again, except this time the magic actually works

We worked with @Ginkgo to connect GPT-5 to an autonomous lab, so it could propose experiments, run them at scale, learn from the results, and decide what to try next. That closed loop brought protein production cost down by 40%.

@Ginkgo @OpenAI everyone's posting about how AI agents helped them make slop videos to post on social media and make some bucks. but this is where we should use our creativity. this kind of challenges.

We connected our autonomous lab to @OpenAI's GPT-5 and let it run 36,000 experiments. The result was a new state-of-the-art for Cell-Free Protein Synthesis that cut costs by 40% per gram of protein. You can now order the beta version for your own lab: reagents.ginkgo.bio You can read the full preprint and read OpenAI’s blog post about our work here: openai.com/index/gpt-5-lo… See the full press release here: prnewswire.com/news-releases/…
