The UK doesn’t have a “far-right” problem. It has a far-left problem, one that’s been festering unchecked in politics, media, academia and culture for years.

@CharlotteCGill The Met has faced real-terms funding cuts of over £1.2 billion since 2010. 228 police stations closed, 126 sold off. 130 full front counters gone. Two were in Clapham. I've taken a real-terms pay cut of nearly 25% since 2010. We’re losing more officers than we can recruit.

@RobertJenrick So if we vote for you, you’re scrapping the free half hour at the end of our shifts before overtime kicks in? We used to call it the “Queen’s half hour”, that somehow made palatable. Not anymore. Times have changed… and so has our attitude to our terms & conditions.

Don’t book at @TravelodgeUK if you are wanting the room you’ve paid for to be available after 10pm at night!! We’ve had a dreadful experience. We tried to check in at the Ilford hotel & 11 30pm to be told they’d been sold to others! Got to new hotel at 1am. Lone women beware!

Maj. Benjamin (Benji) Trakeniski, 32-year-old British Israeli hero. He woke up on October 7th, took his friends with him, and rushed to Kibbutz Be'eri. He and his friends were the first to go into Kibbutz Be'eri. Benjamin and his team rescued 50 wounded people from the clutches of Hamas while under fire. Going in and out of the Kibbutz while reducing the number of people, eventually, Benji was killed by Hamas terrorists' fire. Who do you think the British public would side with today, Benjamin or the monsters who came to murder the babies of Kibbutz Be'eri? I am sad to think about that answer. We will always remember Benjamin's heroism. @BoardofDeputies

Israel Foreign Ministry
The Chargé d’Affaires of the Spanish Embassy in Israel was summoned today for a clarification meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs following severe acts of violence by the Spanish authorities against the flotilla provocateurs At the instruction of Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, the Political Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yossi Amrani, summoned today, 24 May 2026, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Spanish Embassy in Israel, Francisca Pedrós, for a clarification meeting following the publication of videos and images showing severe acts of violence by the Spanish authorities against the flotilla provocateurs. The Political Director pointed to the hypocrisy of the Spanish government, which sends its provocateurs to Israel and then condemns Israel for its lawful actions to enforce a legal naval blockade - while at the same time Spanish authorities employed severe violence against those same flotilla participants. The Political Director demanded an explanation as to why, nearly 24 hours after the serious acts of violence committed by the Spanish authorities, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez or any of his ministers have still not seen fit to condemn the Spanish authorities’ violence, while they are always quick to condemn Israel on any pretext whatsoever. The Political Director clarified that the Spanish authorities had to deal only with provocations carried out by some of the flotilla participants against Israel - whereas Israel faced far more serious provocations by many hundreds of flotilla participants during each of the last six flotillas - and yet the Spanish authorities resorted to severe violence that was not employed by Israel. The Political Director demanded explanations from the Chargé d’Affaires as to why the Spanish government has thus far taken no action regarding flotilla activist and Spanish citizen Saif Abu Kashk, who has ties to Hamas and on whom U.S. sanctions were also imposed last week.

Not the side I usually fall on, but am really troubled by implications of this for many trans people who will be at greater risk if they simply switch public bathrooms as currently constituted. I hope there is a way that women’s right to single-sex spaces can be delivered without putting others at greater risk

Sarai (Sarah Idan) Miss Iraq
Spain has positioned itself as one of Europe’s loudest anti-Israel voices yet when flotilla members blocked the arrivals gate for their photo op, Spanish authorities handled them with a level of force they would instantly condemn if Israel did the same. That’s the whole hypocrisy in one scene: governments holding Israel to standards they can’t meet for five minutes in their own airports. So will the world call for boycotts of Spain? Will activists flood the streets? Will celebrities post black squares and moral lectures? We both know the answer.

I’m getting accused by Reform accounts of lying about donating my MP salary to local charities. Total and utter bullshit. I give every penny I receive of my MP salary to worthy causes. These people are desperate and it’s truly pathetic.

This is absolutely disgusting, quite literally overnight around 5% of your pension is gone, your money !!! And before the “yes but it’s a good pension” brigade chime up, stick over £400 a month into a savings account for 30 years and you’ll have a good one too
Police Federation of England and Wales@PFEW_HQ

1/ Police officers who gave decades of service to this country have just had their retirement plans ripped up overnight. The Government has quietly cut the lump sums available to retiring officers in the 1987 Police Pension Scheme - with immediate effect. 🧵

The horrific multiple rape of two young girls at knifepoint has resulted in sentences that are shockingly lenient. If you're as angry as the rest of us, please take two minutes to submit an Unduly Lenient Sentence referral. An excellent and well written example is posted below, just click and complete it - it takes 2 minutes. 🙏 My heart is sore tonight for those girls. I can't imagine their pain at the injustice here. Enough is enough. Let's make our voices count. 💔
jjinUK64@JjinUk64

Please don't just be angry and outraged. Please take the time to request a Sentencing Review and try to help get these sentences overturned: gov.uk/ask-crown-cour… It will ask you for some case details as you go through the submission, I will put the necessary answers below. It takes less than 5 minutes — we need to do this for the sake of these poor children. Answers needed... Names of the convicted: "Have been withheld from the public. Sentencing Judge is Judge Nicholas Rowland. Date of sentence: "21 / 05 / 2026" and "within the past 28 days" Crown Court where this sentence was issued: "Southampton" Which offence(s) was the sentence given for?: "Rape, and Taking and Possessing Indecent Images" Why do you think the sentence is unduly lenient?: Insert your own answer, and do not use profanity no matter how upset you are. Mine was: The crimes here are violent crimes that have destroyed the lives of the victims, at least one of which is now suicidal and the sentence is not remotely proportional to the severity of the crime. Additionally, the Judge's comments seem to indicate a bias in favour of the convicted, as he offers up justifications for their behaviour such as being low IQ. These crimes were not spontaneous, they were premeditated and planned. They were also filmed. So we know what happened, and we know that they were intelligent enough to plan and execute the luring and entrapment of their victims, which does not indicate that they were the kind of simpletons the Judge suggests. If they had the capacity to plan the crimes in advance, then they have the capacity to be held criminally responsible for those actions.
