WHEN POVERTY BECOMES A GOVERNMENT SUCCESS STORY a struggling mother is forced to hawk chickens under the hot sun just to put food on the table, a very brilliant caring MP from Kyaka @tombrightamooti sees her & takes her picture Ugandans thought he was going ask, how can we help this woman? but instead, he thanked the President for empowering women 🤷🏿‍♂️🙆🏿‍♂️ so now, carrying chickens from roadside to roadside is called empowerment? Mr Mp sir, survival is not the same as empowerment boss U must apologize to Abapakasi family #omupakasi

UGX 3.7 billion is being invested in the Rwenzori Marathon. I have no share in that investment, and that’s okay. What excites me is what comes after. This event will bring thousands of runners, supporters, tourists, media crews, and businesses into the Rwenzori region. That’s where the real opportunity lies. The pie is too big for one organization to consume alone. Tour operators can sell packages. Hotels can fill their rooms. Car hire companies can provide transport. Restaurants, guides, photographers, content creators, souvenir vendors, fuel stations, and local communities can all earn from the visitors. Instead of asking, “Who is getting the UGX 3.7 billion?” we should be asking, “How do I position myself to benefit from the economic activity it creates?” I’ll be sharing practical ways you and I can earn from the Rwenzori Marathon ecosystem. There is enough bread for all of us and @wekesa_amos talks about this often

Go and post them on your own account. I’m not among those who are going to benefit from the UGX 3.7 billion. Unless you’ve started paying attention to what I post, you’ll know that I regularly promote Visit Uganda without receiving a single shilling. Unlike some of you, I don’t get paid for it. Politics shapes our day-to-day lives, whether we like it or not. So, feel free to post whatever you want on your account, but don’t try to dictate what I should post on mine.

Today, I took time to visit my honourable colleague, Hon. Agnes Nandutu, at Luzira Maximum Prison. We shared a long and heartfelt conversation about leadership, service, resilience, and the realities of public life. She also entrusted me with messages for the Bamasaaba people, Umukuka Papa Jude Mike Mudoma, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba (MK), and H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, which I will deliver through the appropriate channels. This visit reminded me that leadership is not only about standing together in moments of celebration, but also about showing compassion and solidarity during difficult times. As national leaders, we must learn from every experience, remain humble, and never forget our colleagues when they face challenges. History judges leaders not only by the positions they hold, but also by the humanity they demonstrate. Let us continue to build a politics of empathy, unity, and hope, knowing that today's circumstances can change tomorrow, but our character and commitment to one another should remain steadfast. For God and My country! @Parliament_Ug @pwatchug @NRMOnline @mkainerugaba @KagutaMuseveni @OPMUganda

A MAN CANNOT STRAIGHTEN THE TREE HE BENT FOR YEARS, KABANDA To MZEE Kabanda tells President Museveni, you can’t fight wat u created Last year, Hon Kabanda made wat i consider one of the most honest political submissions, he argued that corruption, impunity & state capture have become so deeply rooted that the person who oversaw the system cannot realistically dismantle it he questioned the continued creation of districts & constituencies & argued that political patronage has allowed powerful individuals to wield influence beyond formal government offices, in his view, these are symptoms of a system that has grown beyond the control of its creator Kabanda concluded by thanking President Museveni for his years of leadership, but said its time he hand over the country to Gen Muhoozi, according to Kabanda, only a new leader someone not tied to the existing system would be in a position to confront corruption, impunity & state capture without the political baggage of having built that system Wthr one agrees or disagrees, it was a bold & thought provoking submission that continues to generate debate personally, i give Kabanda’s submission 90%, if he continues making such candid & well reasoned arguments, i will gladly give him the remaining 10%

🚨 WHY MUSEVENI SACKED SIX SENIOR ENGINEERS AND A LEGAL OFFICER FROM THE WORKS MINISTRY AND UCAA. President Museveni has dismissed six senior engineers and one legal officer from the Ministry of Works and the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority. The officials include the Engineer-in-Chief, the Director of Airports, and project managers for major roads like Masaka-Mutukula and preparations for the 2027 AFCON tournament. He acted because of massive corruption that caused serious delays and inflated costs on key infrastructure projects, plus problems at Entebbe Airport. In his letter, Museveni specifically accused three of the engineers of changing the Busega-Mpigi Expressway route so it would pass through their own private land instead of the original path that government had already paid for. That forced taxpayers to pay fresh compensation money, helping push the project cost from 600 billion to 1.3 trillion shillings while only 40 percent of the work was done. The President wants to clean up the sector and stop the waste of public money. Investigations are still ongoing to find out the full extent of the issues. This move shows he is serious about fixing Uganda's roads and airports so development can move forward.

Open Apology Brief to The CDF Dear Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba (@mkainerugaba), My name is Stanley Ndawula, a lowly journalist in Uganda and a food vender who, obviously is little known in your circles and one who doesn’t deserve your attention even for a second. However, I’m left without any option than seeking your attention. Today, I labored to write an open letter to you but failed to post it at every attempt I tried, for I guess you have no time to read an 800word piece from someone you don’t even know. I’m here to plead for our own, Ndugu Gideon Tugume who, today made 11days in a custody yet unknown to any of us and his family. I personally believe that your anger was, and still is justified. No body would joke about one’s paternity. I too wouldn’t stand such. However, we know you as a leader with a good and forgiving heart when you choose to. Whether Gideon is still alive or dead (the latter because he was depending on self-injectable insulin which he wasn’t allowed to carry with him), we still seek your mercy. Lastly, Tugume has been a supporter of your Operation Maliza Usadi, save for a few previous episodes he jumped out of his professional line. I’m hereby taking collective responsibility to apologize to you Sir, on behalf of his family, his friends and colleagues at work. We may not pledge anything on his behalf but we promise to watch him well if he’s given another chance to freedom. We so pray, Sir. For God and My Country Yours Faithfully Stanley Ndawula

Covering the anus should never be a solution to heal diarrhea. The @Educ_SportsUg has halted all school tours which is good but here are the issues that we must address. 1- Is it practical for a 1 driver to drive over 240 km x 2 in one day?. 2- Are school drivers or those that they hire for tours experienced in long distance driving? 3- What is the status of of the roads to some tourist destinations?. 4-Can't we do without school tours? Rest in peace to all Angels of King David Junior School.

Did the driver of the bus die? Or he flew away? Cause Parents are saying that the bus made 3 stepovers for maintenance and at every stepover, he was advised to hand over the kids to another bus but because of his greedy he refused. Look at the tire. That driver should be sentenced to death for manslaughter.
