BIP-110 won’t pass - that’s clear now… Core devs kicked the hornet’s nest removing the OP_RETURN default. Yes, miners bypassed it. Yes, inscriptions use witness data. But that small policy change damaged Bitcoin’s “social layer.” Many people who care deeply about Bitcoin felt overruled, not respected, and it felt like a “rulers creating the rules.” The resulting toxicity and misrepresentations exposed a real stewardship problem in Bitcoin Core devs attitudes.

@hodlonaut Problem is, this is a rather logical argument. If you can't see the flaws, then you lack understanding. So you loose your "rep" because you're either stupid, or corrupt.

If I have any “reputation” or trust among bitcoiners, it was built over the last ten years by simply speaking my mind, and truth as I saw it. Still people warn me about “losing my reputation” by exposing Core and supporting BIP-110. Thing is, I am still just speaking my mind, and truth as I see it. So why on earth should I be worried about “losing reputation” among people I consider to not be motivated by truth or principles? I’m not, and never will be.

The half time show is more entertaining than the actual game. Football needs an overhaul, or at least a side format, Like cricket did with T20.
