@RAILMag Losing the two-level cars for long-distance routes will be a tragic loss. The massive Superliners were a crucial part of the magic of train travel. Not every train car needs to be wheelchair accessible, just as not every row in an airplane can fit wheelchairs.

Amtrak needs to fix this. Alstom should be embarrassed. The new NextGen Acela cars have seats with NO WINDOWS. They had 9 years to design a new coach and no one seemed to notice this obvious flaw until YouTuber Trains Are Awesome posted a video of his seats on the inaugural run.
