Here's another one that might look like kind of a mind trip.
I use double inner loops so often to avoid curvature pinching that I end up doing crazy things with them in the name of science.
Showing the base topo vs subdivided result at the end.

Here's another use case of double inner loops in subdiv. Adding an outer loop on this messes up the curvature/shading on that slope. So just... don't. Support the inner curve well enough and it'll be fine.
