Wild day. Had to leave the game unexpectedly after getting a call that my son had taken a scary fall and was headed to the hospital. Thankfully, after a very long few hours, he got the all clear and is doing well. Tough kid. The first thing he asked me when I walked into the ER: “Did the Mets win?” Saying “yes” didn’t really feel like I was doing it justice. Sorry I disappeared and missed the walk-off interview.
