Congratulations to Shaji, ECG-ACRIN and everyone involved - very important trial. However, since there wasn’t a clearly superior arm, the debate of RVd vs. KRD will persist. It actually opens the door for us to use either regimen based on “beliefs”.

The BCMA bispecific data are encouraging and if PFS approaches the 11-12 month mark - these OTS products would be preferred in triple class refractory. However, we still have other bispecific against others targets that may be better + hopefully we are all looking at biomarkers

1/ Covid (@UCSF) Chronicles, Day 38 Still stable at @UCSFHospitals & in SF. @UCSF, 15 pts, 5 on ventilators (Fig on L). In SF: 38 new cases, 23 deaths overall (up 1)(Fig R). A sad milestone: we passed 50,000 deaths in the U.S. today. Staggering, & tens of thousands more to come.

I discussed this in my last lecture before shutdown in Winnipeg: namely no longer is #SoMe only a place for skeptics/critical appraisers. Those within the academic citadel have figured out that if you want to control the message (eg GUSTO days) you have to use SoMe @JamisonFalk

Though we don't know how many of the asymptomatic will develop symptoms this is quite a remarkable observation (obviously I am late, just a day, but in #COVID19 time, a day is like a month)

Whoa, 147 (36%) out of 408 people tested positive for the #coronavirus at a large homeless shelter in Boston medrxiv.org/content/10.110… More interestingly, only ~1/6 showed symptoms among those tested positive, i.e. 1:5 for symptomatic vs asymptomatic. #COVID19
