Stop calling cica "a star ingredient". It's short for cicatrix, a type of post-trauma flat scar on skin. The name you're after is centella asiatica. Products focused on cica(scar) care happen to feature it. Not all do.

I wonder how many people under 50 have ever used a typewriter? I learned to type w/ the typewriter I was also learning to program an 8000 series PC (that ran on BASIC as its OS and stores data on casette tapes). As a middle schooler, I penned my first stories on a typewriter.

Amplifying this. I only passed because 1) I tutored (I)GSCE students in British History for years. 2) lifetime steeped in standardised testing experience 3) 200 yrs of colonialism => English as 1st language + UK history osmosised

For the past two months I have tried to help a friend to study for the #LifeintheUKTest. She works as a cleaner and for a few years, many years ago, she was the only person who I could trust to pick my kid from school & not forget him there or simply not turn up as others did. ⬇️

@martynkelly @jesshigham_ Wake up and bed time light v.important. Without bed time light, day time feels sleepy, night time = max insomnia. SAD management is year-long. Avoid being in the light till too late in PM during UK summers. Light disparity makes autumn harder. Happy to DM for more chats!

@martynkelly @jesshigham_ I've battled SAD for 18 yrs. Lightboxes can work but as part of a good circadian rhythm regime. Indoor lighting with colour temp change v.important. The aim is to create lighting schedule where dawn breaks at 6AM and dusk at 7PM.
