Kimi K3 has one problem and it is a BIG one. It is slow. Painfully slow. 24 tokens per second average. Nearly 6 seconds of latency before it even starts. Look at these charts. Vibe coding is iteration. Prompt, review, refine, repeat. At 24 tok/s the loop breaks. You send a prompt and go make coffee. The model is brilliant. Waiting for it is agony. Moonshot built a frontier model and put it on budget compute. Fix the serving, and Kimi K3 takes over the world.

Another reset for our Codex and ChatGPT Work users. Actually hit 9M active users way earlier today, but then got distracted by the approximately millions of things the team is doing to keep the systems up and reliable. I switched from Claude to GPT-5.6 Sol because it feels more reliable for the kind of work I do every day. As someone working on AI, cybersecurity, and complex coding projects, GPT follows instructions more precisely, keeps context better across long sessions, and produces results that need fewer iterations. Codex has also become my main development environment. The integration between ChatGPT + Codex is simply smoother for my workflow. Claude is still an excellent model, but GPT has become the tool I trust the most for serious production work. 🚀
