@faithandheresy Brighter lights are good for me, AND they are good for the pedestrians and pets I don’t kill because I don’t see them. But they are bad for oncoming drivers who might be blinded. They might strike a person or pet, too.
So maybe it’s more complicated than you claim.

@n0xioushaze @lycheeeezs You’re moving teeth and there’s kind of a position they should be in, you have to account for side to side motion too when chewing. Depending on the bite if the teeth are “long” they will seat wrong and cause your teeth to shift again.

Oh my god dude my canines used to be so sharp my class friends called me a vampire constantly and now my braces completely grinded them down i am so unbelievably sad it was one of the only things i enjoyed about my appearance

@_PROFLIGATE @lycheeeezs i’m sorry i don’t think i’m understanding. i never had braces or anything so im not really familiar with the process. i just have seen so many posts of people heartbroken to lose a feature they love about themselves despite begging the dentist not to do it.

@n0xioushaze @lycheeeezs Generally it’s done on the bite and if you want to keep the teeth in occlusion. Hard to tell from the photo but you can see the tooth gets slightly rotated changing the profile so it looks less sharp

@lazylambzz @ccntccls @lesbianpusheen I guess it’s a regional thing too, but as far as I’m aware around the 80’s it was more commonly interchangeable with happy trail and took on the other meaning moreso in the 90’s, so mostly seems like younger people not getting the other meaning. But it DOES mean both.
