I slept on it. I had to do it.
OKC's title deserves an asterisk.
They join my definitive short list of championships with an asterisk: tomthefinder.com/p/okcs-title-n…

@vincemiller17 Skip is the fakest Thunder fan ever and doesn't deserve any happy feelings from this win. Also sorry about the Hali injury, sucks a lot. Wish both teams could have been healthy all the way through

Gonna be hard to go to sleep tonight knowing that Skip Bayless is happy.

The Pacers brilliantly took the big-game pressure off Haliburton, who routinely no-shows, by planting the "injury excuse" that the media swallowed whole.

so your argument against the thunder (who won 68 games this season and had one of the largest point differentials in history) being good is
(a) they didn’t lose to the nuggets
&
(b) they didn’t go down 3-1 and they didn’t give up a lead today
got it
awesome
i’m convinced
D_boyz@tale224
@SheaSerrano I don't know why this team is so much overhyped.Nuggets took them to 7..They were about to go 3-1 down and today they had to fight a comeback. They also depend a lot on the ref's whistle

I don’t like the optics of SGA being allowed to push off, but then getting rewarded with free throws for slight contact. It’s bad television.
But I push back strongly on the idea that Indy got screwed. I think OKC’s defense has done a GREAT job of operating within the NBA’s perceived rules of engagement.
For example, the NBA has pretty consistently allowed a ton of hand checking in these playoffs, but not a lot of contact after the driver gets an angle. OKC has been good at getting their hands off AFTER they get beat.
Another example, the Lu Dort strip of Hali at halfcourt in crunch time that has been going around, the NBA has very consistently allowed a ton of contact in off ball situations as guys jockey for position, try to cut to and away from the ball. Indy has similarly forced 4 or 5 turnovers in the last two games on plays where they were bear hugging a player in a denial, the OKC player tries to back cut but can’t get to the ball because he’s being held. That hasn’t been called either. I feel like that off ball contact dynamic has been evenly applied.
OKC seems to have a very firm grasp on what they can and can’t get away with. It feels more like a smart team winning a margin than some sort of uneven or unfair practice.

@vincemiller17 @Colts Also I think it's funny that because of your original tweet, all these posts are replying to the colts as well 😂
English

@nAtE_thunderup @Colts OKC is -590 on FanDuel, which feels... disrespectful.
English

Nothing but respect. That's an impressive forced fumble. Sign this man @Colts

@vincemiller17 @Colts Yeah Vegas has been extremely high on OKC all playoffs. I don't understand how exactly books determine lines, but I wonder if it has more to do with the majority of public money being on OKC than with metrics saying OKC is that much better. Idk if that made sense
