Our paper on genome assembly of an endemic land snail from Western Ghats is out in @GenomeBiolEvol. The paper, led by the amazing @_GopiKrishnan, is a result of a long term collaboration with @skinkomaniac, @gupathy and @naaravind from @niser_official, @ccmb_csir, and @atree_org.

I came across one of the most fascinating books. The book on edible molluscs by @naaravind goes far beyond traditional writings about wildlife and documents importance of molluscs for food security. Out of the 42 edible molluscs 19 are not evaluated or deta deficient as per IUCN
