@muhendisIiktr dude have you heard of micro processors? do you even know how they are built? this is like backing cake compared to turning sand into chips that powers every single modern device so you could record that video. they use Light to 3D print the chips...!!!!!!!

I'm really hoping they'll be able to compress language models more so that they could run reasonably fast and with good quality on a laptop. Then there would be some safety against getting rug pulled in 12-18 months.

@adriamatz Probably just a mistake. Probably hard coded the products rather than reading them from remote.

Just caught this app faking a free trial In app: "Trial Activated. Start 1-week Trial" App Store: €8.99 today, €9.99 next week There is no trial. They charge from day 1. How did this pass Apple review?

This app makes $300K/mo letting you try AI hairstyles ChatGPT does this for free The playbook: → Find what AI does free → Wrap it in a clean UI → Lock the result behind a paywall → Charge $9.99/week OpenAI won't polish it That's your opening Build it with Anything

@KeithNewton I often ask "Could you cross-check your work? Anything we might have missed?". Often it finds things. Sometimes I just tap the up arrow to reselect that message and send it multiple times.

I'm asking coding agents, "anything left to do?" more often lately. This is in response to a resurgence of agent laziness and my concern I'll have missed something obvious it didn't finish. "Would you like me to continue working on the thing you asked me to work on?"

It’s 2018 and your coworker just sent you a 400 line pull request. You get a cup of coffee and sit down to review it. It’s beautiful. Elegant micro-refactors. Crispy method names. You catch a few things, but that’s ok. It’s part of the dance. They didn’t consider extensibility on part of their API. Here’s a comment buddy. They respond in an hour saying they think we should do one piece differently than your comment. Hey let’s jump into a room and figure it out. We can’t just agree to disagree, this code is too important. The PR merges and goes to prod. You feel a shared sense of ownership and accomplishment. That night you go to sleep and dream of that code. You can still see the shapes of it on the backs of your eyelids, your IDE syntax highlighting sparking neurons in your reptile brain. You go to work the next day ready to go. You understand the system. N is your foundation. Time to build n+1.

Here's how I automated my TikTok posting pipeline. (Thanks for numerous comments here in X 🙏) - Created TT developer account, a new app in sandbox - Enabled video.upload scope - Built a one-time login flow for an account to add it into the 'Target Users' and get a reusable tokens. (for US account I did it on VPN). You can ask Claude for more details on that one. - Built a content pipeline with Claude (Image generation + text overlays). - Each post goes into the notifications page on the account and it takes 2 secs to convert it into the draft so it's ready for manual posting. Did my first posts yesterday using this approach and no shadowbans or any other issues so far. Will post another update in a few days on this topic
Max 🇮🇪🇱🇻@maks6361

I’m thinking about a fully automated pipeline for my TikTok slideshows starting from Claude command in the terminal all the way down to having bunch of drafts in an account ready to be published. Curious to know how others are doing it for accounts that are on VPN. Is there a safe way to automate slideshows creation without a chance to ruin your account?

No please, no! Don't push people to think that a cluster of 4 M5 Max is a viable solution. If you set the to High Power they will drain battery after few hours even if connected. Moreover It will generate an incredible amount of heat and noise. For me is a no go, sorry.

M5 Max cluster 72 CPU and 128 GPU cores, 512GB unified Ram Each MacBook is connected to all the others with Thunderbolt 5 (120Gbit/s). But I’ll have to use Wi-Fi to connect to the cluster

Spent a few hours today research the best approach for TikTok US (+VPN) accounts. Here is what I found: - HMA, NordVPN etc - Data Centers, so TT would shadowban your account - VPN provider + Dedicated IP - same Data Centers issue - Selfhosted VPN via Hetzner - same Data Centers issue - ISP/Residential proxy - better alternative but ideally 1 proxy per account. - Mobile Proxies - the best but pretty expensive Still struggling with the best approach in terms of cost/reliability. Share your setup in the comments 🙂

ASO is dead! Apple has ruined it with ASA updates! There're too many vibecoded apps so can't rank organically! Android users don't pay so android apps suck! While everyone keeps speaking about that, my wife with help from Claude skills and my support kept building small simple apps, spending 3-4 hours a day. It took her only 1.5 months to get her MRR from 100$ to 1k$. It's 9 apps in total, revenue is split 50/50 between iOS and Android apps. No ads, no marketing, nothing. We decided she'll keep shipping apps until she gets to 2-3k$ so we have some budget and then we'll pick a couple of interesting apps and will be growing them with either ads or TT/IG. So, stop overthinking and asking yourself "is it the right time to start or am I late already". The best time to start was yesterday, but it's still good to start today.

My younger son is nearly 2 years old, and my wife’s maternity period is almost over. So instead of going back to her 9–5, I suggested she become a mobile app developer 😀 so she can work from home and spend more time with us. She’s very much into design but not a tech person, so I created a few Claude skills for mobile development to help her ship apps. 1 months ago we started the experiment and today she hit her first milestone 🚀🚀🚀

⚠️Massive drop in popularity in Apple Ads update of October 31, 2025 In case you haven’t read our last posts, here’s a quick summary: Since the early October, Apple Ads has started to provide a popularity of 5 (very low) on thousands of keywords that previously had a higher popularity. All ASO tools are based on Apple Ads data for popularity, and consequently this change has impacted Astro and other ASO tools on the market as well. Some competitors have claimed to have “solved” the issue, but we have personally analyzed their data and found it to be the same as what Astro provides. We prefer a clearer communication, and we want to explain step-by-step what we have done and what we’ll be doing. We are sorry if this post is a little longer than usual, but we believe our users deserve maximum transparency. To provide you with consistently reliable information, we moved fast and managed to do the following: - We have momentarily stopped the update of keyword popularity to provide only historical data. - We have restored a backup dating back to the beginning of October to have reliable data on our database. - We have integrated a database of a million keywords, into our backend, that is being called each time a user adds a keyword to Astro. This database comes from a report provided by Apple Ads, named “Monthly Search Term Rank Report” with updated popularity data. - We have modified our backend to request the minimum amount of data to Apple’s APIs. This is what happens when a user adds a keyword in Astro: - Step 1: A user searches for a keyword in Astro. - Step 2: We check if the keyword is present in the database of the “Monthly Search Term Rank Report”. - Step 3: If not present we check our local database. - Step 4: If still not present, we request the keyword’s popularity to Apple, and at this point Apple could respond with data which is inconsistent with the past popularity values of the keyword, or respond with data which is perfectly reliable. It’s important to point out that Apple is still providing coherent and reliable data for many keywords. - Step 5: The backend calculates the difficulty of the keywords and returns the data to the user. This flow allows us to provide reliable data for the vast majority of the keywords. Regarding all the other data in Astro, like difficulty, rankings, ratings etc. they are all 100% correct. Future scenarios Since we noticed this change, it has already been a month, initially we were hoping for a simple bug from Apple, but there are two factors that make us think the contrary: - Apple is still providing reliable data for a lot of keywords (calling for the same endpoint). - A month has already passed since this change. This brings us to two possible scenarios: Scenario 1: If the situation doesn’t change by November 15, 2025, we will have to start considering as reliable all the data that Apple is currently providing. Since the only source for this data is Apple Ads, the most logical thing to do is take these popularity values as correct. This means that from the 15th of November we will restart all the keywords’ updates on our database, to provide constantly updated and reliable data. Scenario 2: If this turns out to really be a bug and will be solved shortly by Apple, we will immediately start an update of our database to refresh the popularity of all our keywords. In both scenarios we will keep you informed on what is happening and what we are doing about it. Additionally, we haven’t stopped this month, we have been working on many more updates that we can't wait to share with you, to make Astro even better, but we will talk about this in another post. Before concluding, I would like to thank all the people that wrote to us on X and responded to our emails, thanking us for having kept them informed since the beginning of this change. We are doing our best to manage the situation and provide you with 100% reliable data, like we've always done, and your support means so much to us. If you have any question whatsoever you can answer this post and as always we will be happy to help! Best Matteo

⚠️Massive drop in popularity in Apple Ads update of October 12, 2025 Summary: Since the beginning of October, the Apple Ads APIs have started reporting a popularity value of 5 (very low) for thousands of keywords that previously had a higher value. This issue is affecting all ASO tools on the market, and unfortunately, the situation doesn't seem to be back to normal yet. However, we're working to provide you with reliable data until Apple resolves the issue. Here's what we've done so far: - We're monitoring the situation with automated scripts so we can update our database as soon as Apple resolves the issue. - We've created a dedicated page on our website where you can find all the updates on the situation: tryastro.app/apple-ads-issu… - We've restored our database with a backup from early October, so you can go back to viewing the previous popularity values in Astro. To do so, select your keywords, right-click, and select Update Popularity. - We've taken advantage of the release of a new report in Apple Ads (𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁) that gives you access to the most searched keywords for each individual store. There are exactly one million keywords with popularity > 5, and we've integrated the entire database into the Astro backend, allowing you to get many more keywords with 100% reliable popularity. If you're running ASO searches with @TryAstroApp these days, you should keep in mind that: - Any keyword with a popularity > 5 is 100% accurate. - Keywords with popularity values of 5 could actually be 5 or higher. - All other Astro features are working properly. We apologize for the inconvenience and will update you as soon as we have more information. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Matteo
