@stopachka Realising how productive mornings can be. I'd recommend against an alarm, let your body wake up naturally and you'll be way more energetic and enjoy it. Just go to bed earlier. Haven't used an alarm in 5+ years :)

Early morning risers: What has made the biggest difference to you becoming an early morning person consistently? Do you have a recommended alarm clock?

Today we're releasing an experiment: manyminiapps 1. You don't need to sign up 2. You write one prompt 3. You get an app back with it's on database, un under 2 minutes. It's the world first massively multiplayer online, mini app maker.

I get it, but IAM provides a high level of security for how all AWS services communicate with each other. But, as I said, I understand it’s not that simple and it can seem superfluous when you need to ship fast. It just sounds strange to me that the only reason not to use AWS would be IAM

They have a truly delightful experience, and an AI agent that keeps getting better after every search. They plan to grow to all of Latin America, and we’re so darn excited to be supporting their infra.

Ignacio and Javier left their jobs at Meta to build Mirando, an AI-powered real-estate platform for Latin America. In this thread we’ll share their backstory, the lessons learned, and what’s ahead!

If an AI one-shotted a full-stack demo app for you, what would the app have to do, for you to say "wow"?

I guess at 1-2k mrr it might be too early to hire a contractor. Similar with ads, only worth it if they are bringing revenue, ideally shouldn't be a cost but an investment. Agree on your main point though. Building a money making SAAS is harder than they make it seem, and will take longer than expected to make it 10k+ mrr. You need to be 100% committed and able to do it (financially and emotionally)

Honest post I quit my job at Expedia 1 year ago because I hated working with some of the people there I masked it by telling myself it was holding me back from building my SaaS In hindsight, I should have interviewed and gotten a job at a startup 4 months ago I got a new job at a small startup, and life is great I still work nights and weekends, and have income to pay a contractor employee and experiment with paid marketing My saas mrr is $1,222 (experienced $497 of churn last month 😭) It’s extremely hard to build something with financial stability. Building it without financial stability will just deteriorate you more if you don’t figure it out quickly, which most saas don’t If you think @asmartbear is smart, he says you need to work on a saas for 6-24 months to find out if you have something Even if you have 24 months of savings, how will you feel if you burned through all that with nothing to show? It may look cool like my internet bits make me $1k/mo, but I spend much more than that on tokens, contractor, and ad spend… (about $2.5k) Just sharing my two cents after reflecting on the past year. I regret nothing and am in a great spot with a great job and a tiny saas But want to shed light on how difficult building a saas is

@stopachka Could be an inline button within the input that changes state and disables input when selected. That way, the value is always defined in the input and not in 2 different places

What works great for me with cursor: 1. Cursor rules file where I explain db structure and reference db files 2. Referenced files are the schema, perms and an InstantDb.tsx file where I define all db ops I guess you could add a sitemap to all docs links as well in the mdc file but hasn't been necessary for me :)

Is there a best practice on how get @cursor_ai to fully index a docs page? We’d be happy to change up our layout, just not sure what’s needed

@punky_qster @seikjaboote @signulll For a senior eng at Meta in the US, total value of RSUs could easily be $1M+ so tax wouldn't be a big worry :) That's also why they're not being granted during layoffs. It doesn't make sense

@nachodeh @seikjaboote @signulll Considering how RSUs are taxed, they can keep them Ignorance of how RSUs work, and an extremely poor choice of CPA, screwed my financial situation up for YEARS Never again

@ColtonSconyers Just curious. How do you close a pre seed and seed round but are not able to afford a dev?

Hey guys, I own a startup in the fitness technology industry. Raised pre-seed 8 months ago. Will likely close a seed round in the next 6-8 months. Are there any people here that would be interested in some equity to help me with software dev? We have a long list of stuff we want to build but can’t afford a full time lead developer at this stage. But we need the software development to help raise the next round. If anybody is interested in talking about it feel free to dm me or reply here.
