@Scav I’ve personally found the most recent versions of GPT to be particularly useless to me. Way less reliable & or exacting..to the point where I canceled my subscription bc it was wasting my time. Things I used to love using it for previously.

@Scav I don’t think specific versions of a model vary that much but we do have clear & known stats that different versions are better or worse at things than each other across releases. So I think it just depends on if the individual is using the term “model” correctly when they gripe

I strongly believe that 70%+ of what people perceive when they insist their favorite models get “worse” is actually just their subconscious becoming bored with something everyone now has access to. Your brain is very good at noticing something is common, and dismissing it

@IbrahimS15 I’ve had companies I was SO into & excited 4 - killed the technicals - skills aligned - vibed super hard w/most of the interviewers & then got turned down bc someone with more yrs exp showed up — atleast in this instance u got feedback on something u can quickly improve on 💕

I got rejected from Anduril bc I was aloof. I recognize I sounded this way but I was just nervous about the technical so I wasn’t as emotive as I normally am. Anyways, this was my dream company and role and I can’t believe I fucked it up on the behavioral aspect. I feel like I wake up every day now feeling disappointed and shit about myself

@Scav The ones that say no and explain why -> tell you what you need to know to succeed and the ones that say yes give you the resources you need to make it happen

As a founder, the VCs I hated pitching to were the ones who never said no, because they were afraid of closing off options to follow on the round if we got a lead / pmf / etc. The best ones said no clearly and directly. In fact, those were the first we went back to once we did have a lead.
