DEMONETIZED FOR 16 DAYS — MY YOUTUBE STORY @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators @YouTube, (please watch the attached video) My channel "Cursedalot" was demonetized on April 27 for “inauthentic content,” For over two weeks now, I've been trying to get a real human review and have only been met with automated rejections and generic responses. I’ve spent nearly 2 years building this channel to over 424,000 subscribers by making long-form internet documentaries that I research, script, voice, and edit myself. No AI voice. No AI scripts. No AI visuals. No automation. YouTube’s policy says “inauthentic content” is mass-produced, repetitive, low-effort, or template-based content. That does not describe my channel. 👉 Every video covers a different creator, situation, story, or internet topic. 👉 Every video is researched, written, voiced, and edited by me from scratch. 👉 My videos have narrative structure, pacing, jokes, visuals, editing, and original commentary throughout. 👉 My thumbnails may have a recognizable style, but that is branding, not mass production. The actual substance of each video is different. I submitted a full appeal video showing my process: my scripts, research, source gathering, Premiere Pro timeline, After Effects work, and how my videos are manually made. That appeal was rejected within 12 hours. @TeamYouTube has told me to continue through Creator Support/email, but that route is not solving anything. The responses I received only repeated the same general policy wording, and my case has since been closed with no clear explanation of what specifically violated the policy. So I’m asking here because I genuinely believe something was missed. I’m asking YouTube to have a real person conduct another manual review of my channel and the attached appeal video to make sure nothing was missed. If my channel truly violates this policy, I would like a clear explanation of what specifically needs to be fixed. But if my channel does not violate this policy, I’m asking for it to be reinstated into the YouTube Partner Program.

I've been getting a lot of questions regarding how to avoid or safe guard your channel from inauthentic content from a large range of creators both faceless and nont faceless. because youtube enforcement is so incredibly vague and so many guru's are just sharing unfounded and unsupported advice at the moment i want to opensource a large scale project that attempts to figure out the patterns that trigger inauthentic content so we transparantely know what is and is not allowed on youtube. However in order to do so i need a large enough sample size of channels that have been hit with inauthentic content in order for this to work. That's why i humbly ask if we can crowd source channels that are confirmed to have been affected in this google form so i can collect enough data to actually find some of the more important signals. Here’s my savage take on YouTube cracking down on AI content. Congrats, haters. You played yourself. Strap in. It’s gonna be a ride. YouTube was never trying to stop AI. It was trying to make sure you couldn’t win with it. That’s the part a lot of people still don’t get. The dream was never “protect human creativity.” The dream was always to push independent creators out, let the public do the moral panic for free, and clear the field for corporations to industrialize the exact same technology at scale. So now here we are. Not just obvious slop getting hit. Not just lazy garbage. People putting in real effort, real taste, real craft, real time — getting demonetized because the scarlet letters are now simply: made with AI. And that was always the endgame. AI video is not going away. It was never going away. You were just never supposed to be the one building a life with it. The corporations want generative AI. They love generative AI. They just don’t want the public using it to become powerful, independent, competitive, or financially free. They want AI in the hands of studios. Platforms. Advertisers. Enterprise. Their partners. Their golden children. Not you. You get the lectures. They get the leverage. You get told your work is fake. They get to mass-produce “acceptable” synthetic content and pipe it straight into every surface you use. So congratulations to every hysterical anti-AI crusader who thought they were fighting the machine. You weren’t fighting the machine. You were clearing its runway. And now the future arrives exactly as predicted: ordinary creators strangled, corporate slop everywhere, and the same people who helped cause it pretending to be shocked.
