Data standards don't facilitate cooperation. It's the other way around. To share data, you must share a point of view. Data is the expression of a point of view. Standards make an existing shared point of view more efficient. This is now, finally, off my chest.

@BBCSounds You support notifications for your roadmap, but you still don't support notifications for new episodes of programmes that I have subscribed to. This is a basic feature that every other app has. What's taking you so long?

All the cancelling & recompense for contracts was done in secret and since Labour Council’s decision to scrap Christmas in Lincoln went public they have obstinately refused to even contemplate an improved event & issued severe instructions to SMT to do nothing to enable a 🤶 Mkt

Great to discuss the Lincoln Christmas Market with Peter Levy on BBC Look North last week - it is a shame it was cancelled in secret, without any consultation or alternative plan presented. I'm calling for the decision to be reversed.

@Ted_Underwood Maybe this is a crazy take but I see all the "wrong" stuff people do in spreadsheets as data science "desire paths" - 100x more people use spreadsheets than our preferred tools, we should adapt the tools to accommodate
