Mr. Ghalib opposes the very core of President Trump's Middle East agenda. He has attacked the Abraham Accords and celebrated the Muslim Brotherhood. He has also called Saddam Hussein, who invaded Kuwait, a martyr. I will be unable to support his confirmation for Ambassador to Kuwait. There are other positions in the administration for which he may be fit, but not an ambassador.
