@nads_bf @JoeCortez616 @TOliveFern No, not true. Check DNA tests. They don't share common ancestry.
Even Saudis aren't arabs they are of hindu origins
English

@JoeCortez616 @TOliveFern No, the vast majority is ethnically Arab.
The word doesn't mean what you think it does, purely about heritage.

English

@TOliveFern Totally! The vast majority of these states are ethnically not even of Arab descent except the Gulf states for obvious reasons
English

@nads_bf @averykerj That's my assumption. From what I understand JJ and Terrio went to Reddit for plot ideas instead of thinking of how to use RJ's ideas to productive ends.
English

@averykerj @Norsehound Totally agree. I don't think they even know how to hear from fans at all tbh.
Ep 7 did well at the box office, so I guess they thought that reflected the film itself, instead of just hype for the new star wars. So after ep 8 didn't do as well they went back to something "safe".
English

@nads_bf @Norsehound I think the only thing I asked for tbh was to not have JJ direct another movie, unfortunately my hopes of Ryan were too high, JJ can’t write and finish an original story to save his life and I stand by that, he just wrote dark empire but bad
English

@averykerj @Norsehound A lot of fan service and "woke" (diverse cast), that was trendy back then.
JJ Abrams who hated the prequels made eps 7 and 9 and copied a lot from the OT; new death star, new empire, new vader, Palestine returned.
It was safe, shallow, and didn't do much with the few new ideas
English

@Norsehound I never understand this argument because it just flat out isn’t true, nobody really wanted anything that Disney did and I don’t get why we have this revisionist history

How Australia’s media used to report Israeli atrocities.
(with credit to Jose Teixeira)
A 1948 account of the Jewish ethnic cleansing of Palestine by Ronald Monson, Daily Telegraph (Sydney) correspondent in Jerusalem.
The tone of Monson's reporting was remarkably different to much of the Western media reporting from Palestine and Lebanon today.
Monson did not try to downplay Zionist crimes and he humanised the Palestinian victims.
Reporting when journalists were carrying through with their mission, to out the truth and did not succumb to pressure from lobbies with $$$ and threats.
Report:
They massacred Arab babies
From RONALD MONSON
In Jerusalem
Jewish mortar bombs were coming over the Damascus Gate, bursting with shuddering explosions in narrow alleys when I visited the Jacob E. Spofford Memorial Hospital - American institution — close by the Gate today (Wednesday).
I had come to visit the Arab orphans from Deir Yassin. I carried no sweets, because their nurse, Miriam Bedrossian, doesn't think sweets are good for year-old babies.
Miriam had cared for these 15 babies since they were brought to the refuge a few days after the massacre of their parents last March. There were 16, but one died of wounds - aged nine months….

"Do not expect the world to be fair to you, for I have lived and witnessed how the world remained silent in the face of our pain. Do not wait for fairness, but be the fairness. Carry the dream of Palestine in your heart and make every wound a weapon and every tear a source of hope."
— Quote From The Last Will and Testament of Beloved Yahya Sinwar

@NillOO00 @ThatchEffendi @nina_kulic_herz You people are in a cult.
The question "does (country) have a right to exist" is only asked by Zionists. It doesn't make any sense, no country "has a right to exist", only you people insist on it.
+ The IDF documents the genocide themselves to brag, gloat and jerk to anyway.
English

I think a real problem with pro-Zionism Americans is that they're not used to having their politics questioned so they react to everything with hostility and are unused to persuasion.
Who's this going to convince? What's talking like this going to do?

Does the Armenian ethnostate have a right to exist?

Liberalism is Soo intellectually exhausted at this point. Like, you can’t keep insisting the sky is red when everyone can clearly see it’s blue. In the same way, you can’t keep flattening fundamentally different historical and material realities by claiming that antisemitism which a this point only exists conceptually no structure basis for it whatsoever operates at the same level, in the same way, as Islamophobia Anti Palestinian bigotry or anti-Black racism . All it does is exist to obscure the violence in the pervasiveness of Jewish supremacy.

Am I crazy or is the New York Times podcast lady actually trying to argue that insulting Jewish people is worse than the mass murder of children?

@JToc33 @nick_field90 Quick, which minority groups that are overrepresented in media are JJ Abrams and Bob Iger part of?
English

@nick_field90 They hired a bunch of multi colored hair, alphabet clan, booger eaters as their focus groups back then. Only plausible explanation.
English

I'm utterly fascinated by the focus group information Disney must have on Star Wars since they first started pondering buying Lucasfilm in 2012 through the present day

All through the Gaza genocide RNZ continues to water down and ‘both sides’ this massacre. They frequently if not always lead with the Israeli perspective which sets the agenda. An egregious play by an otherwise reliable and reputable news source.
sallypatricknz@sallypatricknz
Get it right @RNZ It's not "caught up in Israeli Defense Force's interception". These are our citizens. They were abducted in international waters. This is piracy - and is a flagrant violation of international law. rnz.co.nz/news/world/593…

this is directly because of social media btw. there are plenty of reasons to hate it but the truth is that near-instantaneous global mass comm has made official propaganda much harder to reinforce and has broken the consent manufacturing model used for decades

61% of Americans say the Iran war is a "mistake," per new WaPo-ABC poll. In Iraq, it took more than 3 years to reach that high. In Vietnam, it took 6 years.

@supergutman 3,200 attacks against Muslims and 22 Mosque attacks, including arson, in 2025. No 'national security emergency'. How stupid do you think we are?
