Day 1 of launching my startup @hypersender - Sent the Announcement email to the Early access list. - Scheduled some social media posts that introduce people to the product. - Only allowed 100 beta testers to register to have controlled environment. What else can I do?

TS has mastra(dot)ai. Laravel has AI Kit. The $1M opportunity: build the Horizon for AI. A clean UI that pairs with AI Kit so Laravel devs can: - Manage providers and models - Version prompts - Inspect runs, tokens, cost, latency - See logs, retries, fallbacks - Ship evals and A/B tests -Add guardrails and rate limits Laravel already owns the DX. It just needs the dashboard.

@yongfook Valid point but 80% of people will never execute and remain 20% will vibe code a trashy version of it. My suggestion is to make the change log as a story of how this version will make my life easier more than dump a technical jargon no one cares about.

Something I legit wrestle with… is it worth keeping a public changelog anymore for your SaaS business? Any competitor can basically now automatically ingest the updates and get Claude to make PRs. It only gets them a scrappy level of parity but… still 😭

Just 2 prompts. The input was around 300 characters in total, and the output was around 700-800 characters in total. It feels like @claudeai is just scamming with credits. Thought to upgrade to the $200 plan, but now it feels like it's not worth it.

Not sure what the future holds for the next-gen developers. But you were only supposed to add support for signing in with email or phone number. Haven't looked at the code but hey, I ain't reviewing that 🧐

@andrewchen With respect, What would you call them fake AI apps! AI shouldn’t be the core of everything it’s just another tool that should enhance the UX. Even if it’s just a button alot of apps uses ai to customize the initial experience with the features or maybe customize templates.

how to tell the difference between AI-native products versus when AI is bolted on after the fact... fake AI products: - main AI feature is an AI button with sparkle icons - chat pane where you can ask LLM questions - no memory/personalization beyond one chat - users try it once and go back to using the app the "normal" way - AI is optional not essential to the product working AI native products: - you can spend $100 or $1000 via tokens as you use the product - it gets substantially better every 6 months as base models improve - core workflow is impossible without AI, not just enhanced by it - creates behavior change when users try it what else should be on this list?

@dominikkoch 👀 Give @getpolyscope a try. We don't use over complicated worktrees but copy on write clones. Super fast and way less disk space usage - while giving you all projects dependencies without having to think about complex setup scripts
