One of our favourite #bittensor subnets just adopted a brand new identity: RESI → @zipcodenetwork 🏠 The most recognizable identities in trillion-dollar industries rarely sound niche. They sound familiar, memorable, and built for broad adoption. Zipcode feels like a step in that direction. This aligns with their ambition: decentralized real estate infrastructure, a finance platform launching in June, and a market measured in trillions. Rebrands are interesting because they quickly reveal whether a new identity resonates. In this case, we got an answer quickly: ZIPCODE.TAO was secured within hours 💨

Your $TAO and your DNA are probably two of the most important things that should never end up floating around the internet 😅🧬 That’s why the upcoming @NiomeAI Summit caught my attention. NIOME (SN55) is working on synthetic genomes: Artificial DNA realistic enough for medical AI to learn from, without exposing real patient data. Why it matters: 🧬 More data for AI research 💊 Faster drug discovery & treatment modelling 🔒 Less dependence on sharing sensitive genetic information 📊 Fewer bottlenecks for biotech innovation Very interesting topic for a #bittensor summit. Potentially a very important one too 👀

I've sold 30% of my NEAR position at $2.20 I'm expecting way more upside to come on this one over the coming years, but I need to cover risk on my portfolio. That's why I've decided to sell 30% today at $2.20 as my allocation grew to more than 50% of my entire portfolio. I'm a huge advocate of having strong conviction in the trades that you're taking. That's the best edge that you can have while trading assets. The reasoning of selling a portion of my $NEAR position is as follows: - The allocation became too large in my portfolio, which means that a 20% correction on NEAR would damage the portfolio variance of the portfolio massively. - The upside is still high, but in the short-term, it might be relatively skewed. I can sit in those positions for a long period of time, or I can use the funds to rotate towards other protocols and compound the portfolio further. --> Reasoning for this is that the strongest assets run first and money rotates through the ecosystem from here onwards towards other assets that are very likely following through. - The current status is a breakout of 3-4 sigma on the chart on the daily timeframe, which doesn't mean that we won't be continuing upwards (most likely we will), but it does mean that it's a little overstretched and given that I've been buying the asset between $1.10-1.30, it's a good profit to have. The trades: - Sold 5090 $NEAR for $2.20 = $11,198 in cash That amount I've reallocated as follows: - Bought 20253 $EIGEN at $0.1975 = $4,000 allocated. - Bought 63341 $SEI at $0.06315 = $4,000 allocated. - I keep $3,198 in cash in case we get a correction on NEAR, so I can use the money to be deploying back into it and otherwise I'm hedging my risk slightly by having some more cash. I'm going to be trimming of more of the position if it continues to go up in the coming period and depending on the market structure, I'll be looking to deploy that in other assets or simply in Bitcoin or cash. That said, the low of the portfolio was -75%. It's currently back to -50%, so we've doubled the portfolio from the low, primarily due to the strength of NEAR. The only strategy that I have with this portfolio is to be limiting my portfolio variance, derisking when I can and have been making a good bet, and adapting multiple layers within the portfolio to be making sure that I stay conservative at times that I can. Very pleased with the result and very pleased with the current balance of the portfolio.

Telegram usernames are selling for quarter million dollar numbers while most people are still sleeping. bocai just sold for 118,888 the-open-network:native, around $237k. This market is still early.

Development Update ⚙️ ⚡️ We’ve been building and shipping non-stop, and it’s been amazing watching the community use human-readable identities to send and receive $TAO, support each other through @tip_tao_, and help shape the identity layer of #bittensor. So… what’s next? The question we probably get most: “wen marketplace?” 👀 Soon 😏 Outside of a few smaller (but meaningful) releases, marketplace development is now our primary focus. Target: August 📅 Appreciate your support. Now, back to building 🫡

We couldn’t verify a clear connection between your identity (Edward ττ / @EdwardMcDonne12) and bittensorog.tao. Verified badges are intended for domains that directly represent the person, organization, or subnet behind them. If bittensorog.tao genuinely represents your identity, we recommend making that connection clearer publicly, for example through your display name, profile branding, or bio. If you think we got this wrong, or can provide more context linking the domain to your identity, send us a DM and we’ll happily take another look.

@nametensor @taostats Standardized auth is a strong step. Then the real design question shows up. How identity, permissions, and reputation move across the ecosystem without turning into fragmented state everywhere.

Big move from @taostats 🔥 Standardizing auth around on-chain state removes a lot of duplicated work and reduces drift between chain state and access. The next challenge becomes how identity is represented across those tools. That’s one area where @NameTensor could fit: human-readable names and consistent identity across apps. Auth defines access 🫆 Names define identity 🪪
