@SkyNews Do those who champion free speech abroad not desire it within their own country?🙈

'We do have dedicated police officers who are scouring social media to look for this material, and then follow up with arrests.' The director of public prosecutions of England and Wales warns that sharing online material of riots could be an offence trib.al/TaCldCs

@BalaamAteenyiDr @CanaryMugume While ruling Rome, Aurelius was concerned he might let power go to his head. Every time a citizen called out a word of praise, he instructed the servant to whisper, Memento Homo, into his ear, which translated to, You're just a man. You're just a man —to keep him humble !

I am sure that, within two months, they will either be removed or have succumbed to desiccation. Naturally, knowing @KCCAUG , this will necessitate a financial allocation. 🏃

If nobody will say it, let me say it ! It seems quite apparent that these @KCCAUG chaps were merely attempting to deplete the funds allocated for beautification. How else can one rationalize this utter nonsense?

I remember the palpable optimism of the mid 2010s in Uganda. I mean, Mbarara had a Nakumatt. Uchumi, was going to open a branch that side. Vision Group had glossy magazines! They would launch a glossy magazine, every week, if they were not buying a radio station or running some baraza of sorts, PAKASA, INDI VISION, et al. Uganda was going to produce the next Nation Media Group, bloody hell! Above all, Keturah Kamugasa was still alive. There was a Tuskys in Seeta, that devil licked, always jam packed village of former basezi. Nakumatt at Bukoto, that village of broke snobs. The beauty, though, is I bought these mags. I was single and not so broke and there was little to spend the money on other than magazines and books. Will keep them for my son and God willing, show him what a proper hard copy glossy magazine looked like. @rkabushenga was a dude ahead of his time. He has his flaws, but who doesn't? He was cooking, as they say. It is actually hard to imagine that 9 years ago, people were super optimistic about their prospects in life in this polity.

@MKasheeka Meanehile in principle , that’s what the PDM and its pillars represent ! It’s the implementation that is pathetic ! How sad!

@Well_DoneTM @TheMutaD Kasita me I was engrossed in reading the Super Strikers magazine in the Sunday Vision! I may have been indulging in Hilary Baine Migisha's love tales and the Old Fox's hilarious commentary on weekly topics 😜

@SabitiJoseph warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near. Sun tzu, The Art of War 😝

This from UCU is an interesting approach to teaching applied Ethics! If you were a teacher of any subject in Uganda today, what question would you set about the #UgandaParliamentExhibition ?
