Our new work is out today! Long time in the oven, this has been a really fun and informative collaboration led by Dhanur Iyer in my lab and @HK_Heidar from @NRivron lab. We show that human embryonic cells have an inherent potential to regulate their developmental timing.

Our paper ‘Whole-embryo Spatial Transcriptomics at Subcellular Resolution from Gastrulation to Organogenesis’ is now on biorxiv! We introduce weMERFISH, a platform for profiling gene expression in entire embryos at subcellular resolution. Here is🧵biorxiv.org/content/10.110… (1/12)

La UEFA ha comunicado de manera oficial que no se ha pitado penalti de Cucurella porque hay un fuera de juego previo de Alemania en la jugada. Asunto zanjado. No hay polémica.

🇩🇪 Captain Ilkay Gündogan wrote a letter to Germany fans on the eve of the EURO 2024 opener, via @BILD Dear fans, Tonight's kick-off at 9 p.m. is more than a dream come true for me: leading my national team onto the pitch as captain at a home tournament - just the thought of it gives me goosebumps. Just as our path as a team has been rocky and full of setbacks in recent years, I too can look back on a complicated career in the DFB shirt. It makes me all the more proud to lead Germany onto the pitch as the first captain with a migration background at a major tournament. I am able to lead a team that is special because it is shaped by so many different cultures and countries. These are exactly the factors that will make us as the German national team strong in 2024: diversity and the influence of different cultures. What we were able to learn and feel in the past is that football has the power to bring people together. We live in times in which fronts are being built up more and more. People no longer listen to each other. There's is a division in our society. As a team, we want to bring our country closer together in the next four weeks, contribute to there being more cohesion again, that people can be proud of their German national team and still approach the millions of guests who will be coming to our beautiful country in the next few weeks with openness, respect and friendliness. We want to become European champions. But even if we don't win the title at the end, it can still be a good tournament. Just like in 2006, when I was able to attend the atmospheric fan festivals as a 15-year-old. We celebrated a summer fairytale, even though we only finished third. We have to say clearly that some teams are a bit more stable and well-rehearsed than us. But with the fantastic support of our fans, we can win at this home European championship on so many levels. As good hosts, as a cosmopolitan society and hopefully on the pitch, please help us to make our dream come true TOGETHER! Ilkay
