@arscontexta Im building this with a few existing tools (github.com/tobi/qmd) for searching local knowledge bases (series of markdown files) - I have instructions in CLAUDE.md to use qmd mcp for searching. Just getting started but showing a lot of promise!

claude code + obsidian as infrastructure for agents to think in not just storage but a system that compounds local markdown files become a knowledge graph the agent traverses anyone else exploring this?

Just cancelled cursor, end of an era. kind of crazy because I would have paid like $2000/mo for it only a year ago

@PovilasKorop Devs doing this simply aren’t reviewing the output. There is a point of diminishing return. It’s funny to me the greed that we all quickly fall into. As if the gains of a single Claude code aren’t massive enough to need 4+ 😅

With all AI hype, I still don't understand how people run multiple Claude Code agents/terminals. Ok, I understand how it's possible technically. But how do you REVIEW all of that? I don't have enough brain capacity for such multi-context-switching. Or am I just too old? :)

@code_ontherocks I hit that recently too. Nearly impossible to debug and track down 🤦🏻‍♂️

Just spent an hour trying to figure out why Appwrite wasn't recognizing my database path 😤 "This [String.fromEnvironment] constructor is only guaranteed to work when invoked as const." Guh

Why do you think Flutterflow has so much demand? Even more than Bubble. Is there more demand for mobile apps? Or maybe the B2C market is more popular?

I use riverpod across my 10+ production flutter projects and have not used riverpod_generator. Are there any benefits besides solving “what provider should I use?”. I like controlling which provider is used. Curious of others experiences #flutter #riverpod

Last week, @fertrig gave a Monarch talk in Lima. It was amazing. The #flutter talent in Lima is incredible.

One of the hardest parts of being a developer is picking my battles. 🚫 The team picks an “inferior” tech 🚫 The boss decides to double the team size to “double the velocity” 🚫 The product owner insists on a confusing design 🚫 Management says we can’t afford to upgrade our slow CI server. Sometimes I’m convinced I’m right, but I have to accept it and move on.

I discovered a hidden gem in the Flutter ecosystem this week 💎 Monarch is a developer tool for building Flutter widgets in isolation and its incredibly easy to start using. 1. Write your stories (just widgets) 2. Run Monarch 3. Tweak and debug Add your onboarding pages, error messages, modals, and just about any other widget you want to quickly iterate on and Monarch lets you see it immediately. Benefits 🪲 Find bugs fast 🍋 Easily test hard to reach UI states (loading screens, one-time welcome messages, edge cases) 📈 Boost your widget test coverage (all Monarch stories can be reused in tests) 🔥 Iterate with hot reload Start Coding Declaratively The biggest benefit of Monarch is that it will indirectly make you write better Flutter code. To write better stories, you'll naturally start making your widget cdoe more "declarative". The official Flutter docs also have an page called "Start Thinking Declaratively" that speaks to this point. Get Started Monarch is open source and available on pub. dev so give it a try! Since I learned about it at the DC Flutter meetup this past Wednesday, I've set it up in 3 apps and found a handful of bugs that would have been tough to find before.

Does your #flutter app have its own custom theme? Monarch can render your stories using your app's custom theme. Just annotate your theme and Monarch will do the rest! monarchapp.io/docs/themes

Monarch stories are very similar to @storybookjs stories. If you are familiar with Storybook, then Monarch will feel very familiar. #flutter

Monarch goes 100% open source! 🤯 The next major release of Monarch will be 100% open source. As we open source Monarch, we are also improving the Monarch architecture. This work is heavily under way and should be released very soon! #flutter
