We're hiring a Product Designer Intern at Deveote.
If you already know Figma and the fundamentals but have never seen a design go from brief to shipped product, this is the role for that.
3 months. Remote. ₦100,000/month stipend.
You will work under our senior product designers on live client work, with your decisions reviewed and coached at every step. Our designers have designed products and systems for startups, governments, corporate organizations, and networks.
What we're looking for:
- Real proficiency in Figma: components, variants, auto layout, prototyping
- A working grasp of hierarchy, layout, typography, spacing and accessibility
- A portfolio with at least 2 case studies that show your thinking, not just final screens
- Coachability. You will be told your first idea is not the right one.
- Full-time availability for the 3 months
Strong performers will be considered for a full-time Product Designer role at Deveote at the end of the internship.

After 6 episodes, can we all agree this season of HOTD has been a massive disappointment? Criston Cole’s death is the perfect example of what’s gone wrong. They spent so much time building him up as one of the central figures of the war, only to give him an ending that felt rushed and completely underwhelming. Whether you loved him or hated him, he deserved a better and meaningful death #hotd

@Uc_heyy02 I think the mistake was building him into one of the central characters vs giving meaningless death. They followed the book in how he was killed but I agree it was a little weird because of how much screen time he kept getting.

People are celebrating because they hated Criston Cole.
But if this exact death happened to Daemon or even Aemond, everyone would be calling it terrible writing.
They spent two seasons building Criston into one of the central figures of the Dance, only for him to be taken out by the Blackwoods like an unnamed foot soldier.
Am I the only one who thinks he deserved a better-written death?
