@Uc_heyy02 I think the mistake was building him into one of the central characters vs giving meaningless death. They followed the book in how he was killed but I agree it was a little weird because of how much screen time he kept getting.

People are celebrating because they hated Criston Cole. But if this exact death happened to Daemon or even Aemond, everyone would be calling it terrible writing. They spent two seasons building Criston into one of the central figures of the Dance, only for him to be taken out by the Blackwoods like an unnamed foot soldier. Am I the only one who thinks he deserved a better-written death?
