@elonmusk As long as it’s Pro and not Home, you can choose “Domain Join” under Sign-In Options instead of creating a Microsoft login at that point in the setup. That will create a local account and you don’t have to ever then join it to a domain.
Just bought a new PC laptop and it won’t let me use it unless I create a Microsoft account, which also means giving their AI access to my computer! This is messed up.
There used to be an option to skip signing into or creating a Microsoft account.
Are you seeing this too?
@LastPassStatus MFA issues here, too. Push notifications sometimes come, more often don’t, but even when they do and are Approved, it fails to actually authenticate.
Just a reminder, LastPass will be conducting service maintenance tomorrow, November 14, 2023, 5:00 AM UTC to 08:00 AM UTC. LastPass MFA and the Admin console will be affected during this window. You may subscribe here for additional updates: status.lastpass.com
@skyfeatherfarm@iamharaldur Another theory posits that poorer people don’t want that type of system change because they don’t see themselves as poor, but rather as temporarily not rich, and want the same one-sided system that’s taking advantage of them now to be there to benefit them when they get there.
The idea that bloggers criticizing a politician should register with the government is insane. it is an embarrassment that it is a Republican state legislator in Florida who introduced a bill to that effect. He should withdraw it immediately.
@professor_noone@RonFilipkowski It’s not Disney’s Board. Disney is a publicly traded entity. Its Board members are selected by its shareholders. It’s the Board for the autonomous Reedy Creek area itself. Like the “Town Council”. Just paychecks for his buddies.
The Disney fiasco was classic Desantis. Lots of bluff, bluster and Fox hits. He gets to act tough and talk some shit to the Neanderthals. Then at the end of the day it is all swept aside, undone, or tossed out in court. All so much theater, wasted time and money, no substance.
@swaggaly@ColinCowherd@ChicagoBears They don’t own it. Never have. The Chicago Park District does. The Bears have a lease with the City just for games.
