@talkSPORT Jeez, a grown fella crying. Man the fuck up. This is exactly what's wrong with the modern youth. Save your tears for the shit you'll take at The Den.

@talkSPORT As a Spurs fan I most certainly get no joy from watching that. I probably would have felt the same. Respect to this guy 🫡

@talkSPORT Clearly no understanding of the Championship. The most demanding and hardest division by far. Hammers already saying they will walk the division are in cuckoo land. As it stands they will struggle a la Leicester.

This is one of the hardest days of my football career. I’m devastated for our fans, for everyone at the club and for what this means after 7 years in the club and in the Premier League. You deserved better from us. Thank you for standing with us even in the toughest moments. I truly believe the West Ham family will stay united and loyal through this difficult time, just as you always have. Now it’s on us to respond the right way, work harder than ever and fight to bring West Ham back where it belongs.

@HammerWelling The ref had two options; 1.He should have cancelled the goal and rewarded a pen for westham. Trossard fouling pablo, havertz fouling soucek, rice foul before even the ball got to raya. 2. He should have just given the goal due to the chaos in the box. #VAROUT @RioMeets

@LiamTharmeCoach Players tussle for corners and it's difficult to pick a villain. But when a keeper stopped from being able to jump because he's being held down by his shirt....that's always going to be given.

Find it absolutely grim that blocking and grappling rules have become so obsolete in the PL that a scenario like that can even exist to play a key role in deciding the title Raya fouled? Probably But let’s look at Rice on Mavropanos, Havertz/Soucek and Odegaard hugging Todibo

@WestHam_Central English culture has always been rancid in this sense. over here in US, even the biggest high stakes games people purchase seats where they can, and enjoy a game with no fear of fuckery like this. yea there will be some harsh banter maybe, but nothing neanderthalish like this.

“Arsenal have been blocking the opponent’s goalkeeper all season long, they would NEVER be on top of the league if we disallow these goals!” Peter Schmeichel thank you for calling them out. have your cheating title VARSENAL. 👏

@Jack______john @MikeyHotspurs People are just delusional. If Arsenal did that to west ham I’d call it a foul, because it is. It’s probably the most clear cut foul on a keeper I’ve seen this season, and refs call fouls for waaayy less.

@Jack______john @MikeyHotspurs Thank you. Some fans love changing the rules to suit their agenda. Clear foul. You can’t hold the keeper down like that. Little bump, lean, stand next to him even… all can be allowed. But holding the keeper down has never been allowed

🚨🎙️| Joe Hart on West Ham’s disallowed equalizer vs Arsenal, accuses VAR of saving Arsenal’s title hopes: 🗣️“Listen, I don’t care what anyone says, that goal should’ve stood. VAR has absolutely ruined moments like that. West Ham fought for that equalizer and somehow they’ve found a way to disallow it for the softest little touch you’ll ever see. If that’s Arsenal scoring at the Emirates, nobody even checks it for more than five seconds. And this is what frustrates fans, Arsenal have lived off those scrappy, aggressive goals all season. Blocking keepers, crowding the six-yard box, little nudges here and there… suddenly when it happens against them, it’s ‘clear and obvious.’ Give me a break. I was a goalkeeper, I know when a keeper’s genuinely impeded and when he’s looking for help. There’s no way you can tell me that was enough contact for the goal to be overturned. The game’s gone soft. West Ham have been robbed, simple as that. You wonder why fans think certain clubs get favourable decisions because moments like this keep happening. Arsenal are in a title race and somehow every 50/50 call seems to land their way. That equalizer changes the whole atmosphere of the game and VAR bottled it. Absolutely bottled it.”

Congrats to UVa. Made some huge plays. One of most improved rosters in ACC. Don’t know if it changes the outcome but giifting UVa essentially a free timeout in OT was egregious incompetence. I would expect an official acknowledgment by the ACC offices but damage is done.
