@TVFTM @wigmore126 I genuinely appreciate the thought - I’m good thanks - just managing my screen time. Hope you’re good Kris. 👍🏻

Doing a quick welfare call out for @nathanswanexp not heard any of his one liners in a while @wigmore126 and I were just talking and wanted to make sure he is ok??

@DomGFCBallard @Champ_GFC74 I don’t know how someone of his supposed experience and nous can make subs like today.
English

@nathanswanexp Maybe we should just rename him ‘Mare in memory of this season

For me, it all starts with this guy setting the tone every game.
The body language has been poor for some time just hanging around with his long miserable face.
You can see the players visibly lose heart when they glance over for inspiration.
Utter disgrace.

#gills need to release the early bird ST prices to cheers us all up.

@chrissypaine Cringe song, only slightly better than ‘how shit must you be..’.
But even more cringe was the reaction of the captain, focussing on the fans rather than being able to pass to his own teammate in our defensive third.
English

@TheWhistonGill @GillsInTheBlood Fortunately I can’t see us losing again this season.
English

@jack_the_gill Bit harsh, Hawkins had a train to catch.

Didn’t think the booing was merited.
Hardly a vintage #gills performance but luck was against us again.
The ball rolling onto the corner flag for Fleetwood summed up our night.

@_joeb0501 Would have been 22 if the Lino opened his eyes.
I’ll be writing a strongly worded letter to the FA.

BIG positive to take from the first half 👏🏻

@ReeceHeard_ @GillsInTheBlood @bruntonbugle @bluearmy4ever @blue_army_tv @Deutsch_Gills @TVFTM @ShoutingMenPod @LowerLeagueLook @aroundgroundsss @GabSutton That’s the kind of thing I’m after thanks (even if it doesn’t support my theory) I guess the key is how that compares with our xG pre-Coleman along with other metrics (e.g. shots on/off target, crosses, final third entries, etc) - I feel those have improved (from a very low bar)
English

@nathanswanexp @GillsInTheBlood @bruntonbugle @bluearmy4ever @blue_army_tv @Deutsch_Gills @TVFTM @ShoutingMenPod @LowerLeagueLook @aroundgroundsss @GabSutton Not The Top 20 Podcast said in their preview for our game at the weekend that over our last 8 games (Coleman in charge for 7 of them), our xG was the worst in League Two. In which case underlying numbers don’t suggest we’ve getting much more threatening that we have been all year

@GillsInTheBlood @wigmore126 @bruntonbugle @bluearmy4ever @blue_army_tv @Deutsch_Gills @TVFTM @ShoutingMenPod @LowerLeagueLook @aroundgroundsss @GabSutton Well funnily enough whether our 0.9 PPG over that 12 game period was sustainable or not wasn’t a topic for conversation 😂
English

@GillsInTheBlood @wigmore126 @bruntonbugle @bluearmy4ever @blue_army_tv @Deutsch_Gills @TVFTM @ShoutingMenPod @LowerLeagueLook @aroundgroundsss @GabSutton They do in the long run. This is why I feel it’s pointless analysing PPG after so few games. Lots of people commented that our good form at the start of the season wasn’t sustainable based on the underlying data / performances and so it has proved.
English

@nathanswanexp @wigmore126 @bruntonbugle @bluearmy4ever @blue_army_tv @Deutsch_Gills @TVFTM @ShoutingMenPod @LowerLeagueLook @aroundgroundsss @GabSutton Re run those games and how many points did we gain in those you mention and I mention? Performances don’t earn you points.
English

@GillsInTheBlood @wigmore126 @bruntonbugle @bluearmy4ever @blue_army_tv @Deutsch_Gills @TVFTM @ShoutingMenPod @LowerLeagueLook @aroundgroundsss @GabSutton I’m talking about performances rather than results. Were wins vs MK, Port Vale and Salford reflective of the games/performances? Not for me. Fortunate wins. Re-run those games and the Crewe game ten times each and it’s the Crewe game we’re winning more than the others.
English

@nathanswanexp @wigmore126 @bruntonbugle @bluearmy4ever @blue_army_tv @Deutsch_Gills @TVFTM @ShoutingMenPod @LowerLeagueLook @aroundgroundsss @GabSutton But we won three games in the dozen or so before he arrived? Plus drew a few on top of that, so ‘looking better’ means nothing, to me at least.
English

@wigmore126 @GillsInTheBlood @bruntonbugle @bluearmy4ever @blue_army_tv @Deutsch_Gills @TVFTM @ShoutingMenPod @LowerLeagueLook @aroundgroundsss @GabSutton I’m referring to what I see as improvement under JC so contrasting with what we were seeing in the dozen or so games before he came in.
English

@nathanswanexp @GillsInTheBlood @bruntonbugle @bluearmy4ever @blue_army_tv @Deutsch_Gills @TVFTM @ShoutingMenPod @LowerLeagueLook @aroundgroundsss @GabSutton More threatening going forward vs other managers or more threatening vs how bad we were at the end of Bonners tenure?
English

@GillsInTheBlood @bruntonbugle @bluearmy4ever @blue_army_tv @Deutsch_Gills @TVFTM @ShoutingMenPod @LowerLeagueLook @aroundgroundsss @GabSutton The underlying stats are more relevant for me - it feels like we’ve been better and more threatening going forward - are there any stats that would prove / disprove that?
English

@GillsInTheBlood @bruntonbugle @leerooney @bluearmy4ever @blue_army_tv @Deutsch_Gills @TVFTM @ShoutingMenPod @LowerLeagueLook @aroundgroundsss @GabSutton Completely agree with all your observations on what we’ve been served up under Coleman.
What I would disagree with is the relevance of comparative win ratios vs other managers. Too small a sample size and reliant on so many things outside of JC’s control (e.g pens, misses). 1/2
