In Rayalaseema, only Tirupati has 5 pitlines that can maintain expresses. It is great injustice. Kurnool must get atleast 2 pitlines immediately. It is easy to build pitlines while doubling, SCR must consider.

In connection with the commissioning of the new double line between Eraniel and Nagercoil Town stations in the Thiruvananthapuram Central – Kanniyakumari section, the following changes will be made to the pattern of train services: *TRAIN DIVERSION* 1. Train No. 22620 Tirunelveli – Bilaspur Superfast leaving Tirunelveli Jn. on 29th March, 2026 will be diverted via Tenkasi - Sengottai - Punalur - Kollam. The train will skip its scheduled stoppages at Nagercoil Town and Thiruvananthapuram Central. For the convenience of passengers additional stoppages will be provided at Tenkasi, Sengottai and Punalur. 2. Train No. 19577 Tirunelveli – Jamnagar Biweekly Superfast leaving Tirunelveli Jn. on 30th March, 2026 will be diverted via Tenkasi - Sengottai - Punalur - Kollam. The train will skip its scheduled stoppages at Valliyur, Nagercoil Town, Parassala and Thiruvananthapuram Central.
