@tomtomd123@VelonCC@vismaleaseabike@giroditalia Me when I'm a couch-potato laughing at Tour winning pro-cyclists' stats because I have an unhealthy obsession with another Tour winning pro-cyclist
Nobody survived Vingegaard's infernal pace 😮💨
Jonas Vingegaard launched a ferocious attack with 5.5km to go on the brutal slopes of Blockhaus, as he rode everyone off his wheel, with Giulio Pellizzari the final rider to crack.

@GodlikeSquirre1@NairoInGreen Do you have any numbers on that? Interesting if Vingegaards performance today was really good compared to the best performances this year
@naundraap@NairoInGreen Well he definitely needs to train this time, with his current level. Anyway, Vingegaard did just do the best climbing performance this season on Blockhaus, and Gall today is at the level of Seixas as well. The watts do not lie...
@NairoInGreen@__h__jb Jonas seemed "bad", but Gall, on a first mountain stage, full of energy, is also being underrated in this scenario - bigger differences are always found later in the GT, unless we're talking Pogacar
@GodlikeSquirre1@NairoInGreen Well, Pogacar is going to train and lose a lot of weight before the tour, he's going to be untouchable yet again, Seixas is overrated when compared to Pogacar, but when it comes to Vingegaard, I'm pretty positive Seixas can get second place
@SergioL612@faustocoppi60 Hm, Jonas was 50 seconds faster than Gall at 2nd place in Catalunya, so either he had a bad day or Gall was absolutely flying compared to normal - and this time, Jonas has done altitude training camp, so something is definitely "wrong"
@naundraap@faustocoppi60 It could be. Although I have a theory that he might want to peak at Tour. (More than a theory is a wish haha). I mean, he looked so good in Nice.
JONAS VINGEGAARD (VISMA LEASE A BIKE) CONQUERS BLOCKHAUS AND WINS STAGE 7 OF GIRO D'ITALIA, his first victory in this Grand Tour! 👏🇩🇰 He didn't ultra-dominate his rivals though because a great Felix Gall finished just 13 seconds behind him. HABEMUS GIRO!
#GirodItalia
@SergioL612@faustocoppi60 He looked pretty cooked tbh, if not a bit sick then his level has dropped to more "human" levels, far from Pogacar, thats for sure
And maybe Gall is a bit underrated!
@Bonlgon@Jesper_HS@M19L92 Det jo bare surt show.
@SometimesSarca@HokusPokus27907@DonAmbungan Ah, so Vingegaard being one of the two attackers doesn't count? It's funny that you discredit riders you don't like instead of just having respect for all these incredibly strong athletes
Look at that “boring rider” who supposedly does nothing but follow wheels. 🤭
Big thanks to my Bulgarian friend for capturing this video of Vingegaard’s attack for me. 🇧🇬
@brykmario@rouleur Are you suggesting he didn't attack on this stage? Or is there a certain measurement for when an attack is an attack? Was he supposed to solo from 50km on a rainy puncheur stage where 80% of the GC riders fell behind due to the weather?
I don't think you're a fan of cycling
@brykmario@rouleur Are you serious? He's great to watch, and will probably end up being one of the greatest GC riders the next decade, but Jonas attacked as many times in Paris-Nice as Seixas did in Basque Country.
He's going to face same issues as Jonas - you can't effectively attack Pogi
@StefanDL81@lucasaganronald I swear, you cycling fans are probably worse than football supporters - just making up your own headcannons for people you don't know and denying reality once it's a rider you don't like, it's so weird man
@mannyman3412@lucasaganronald What do you mean? 💀 He has attacked Pogacar so many times on various stages, you just don't remember them because Pogacar is usually stronger and shut them down so to you Vingegaards attacks are non-existant
@SometimesSarca@HokusPokus27907@DonAmbungan Granon was a Vingegaard attack, so was Hautacam - he also attacked multiple times in 2024 & 2025, you people really just deny reality when its a rider you don't like
@HokusPokus27907@DonAmbungan When he did attack in 22 and 23? On both Granon and Col de la Loze it was Pogacar dropping, not Vingegaard attacking.
The only truly impressive performance was the Cobloux ITT.
