5 Books I would sell my soul to read again:
1. When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi: At the age of thirty-six, on the verge of completing a decade’s worth of training as a neurosurgeon, Paul Kalanithi was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer. One day he was a doctor treating the dying, and the next he was a patient struggling to live. When Breath Becomes Air is an unforgettable, life-affirming reflection on the challenge of facing death and on the relationship between doctor and patient, from a brilliant writer who became both. Inspiring, Motivating and a thought provoking read.
2. The Common Sense Diet by Rujuta Diwekar: Her books have completely transformed the way I think about living a healthy life. In this book, she cuts through fads like intermittent fasting, high-protein diets, gut cleanses, and India’s latest millet obsession. Her simple, practical approach removes the fear and confusion around food—making eating healthy so much simpler, and honestly, a non-negotiable.
3. Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki: This book was a life-changing read and pushed me to start investing in stocks and mutual funds. It’s the perfect beginner-friendly read for anyone intimidated by financial jargon or the world of money. Kiyosaki breaks down the difference between working for money and making your money work for you—an eye-opening shift that stays with you long after you finish the book.
4. Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez: Don’t let the romance label fool you, this book digs deep into a doctor’s personal and professional struggles. As she navigates a divorce, fights for a promotion, and desperately searches for a kidney donor for her brother, the story unfolds with remarkable sensitivity. It’s captivating, heartfelt, and beautifully written. If you’ve ever supported a loved one through chronic illness, this book feels like a warm, understanding hug.
5. Atomic Habits by James Clear: If there’s one book that can genuinely change your life, it’s this one. Atomic Habits is a practical, data-driven guide that helps you understand the “why” behind your behaviors and how tiny changes create massive transformation. It’s easy to read, incredibly actionable, and reshapes the way you think about progress, discipline, and long-term success.
If you could read one book again for the very first time, which one would it be?

One of the best books of all time
Re-read it every time I catch myself thinking something in my life is hard
Complete frame reset on a what hard actually looks like

Michael Saylor@saylor
Endure.

About 100 pages into this fantastic book by Erik Larson. Tremendous true story of an American family’s experience in Germany during the first year of Hitler’s reign.
Highly recommend both this book and his book The Splendid and the Vile if you want a non fiction book that reads like fiction.

@Giuliano_Mana I’ve got this on my list to read by the end of year. @FoundersPodcast episode on it was excellent

@AJA_Cortes Arguing on the internet is even more pointless than arguing in person.
You aren’t going to convince anyone to actually change their mind, especially by being shitty.
Post your beliefs, support them with evidence and ignore the people talking shit.
Live your life.
English

Fitness X is arguing again and being silly:
FYI reminder friends
You are in an algorithmic fish bowl in which about 50-100 accounts all respond and parrot each other
"Everyone is talking about this!"
You've fallen into the trap.
You then compete with the other nodes and it becomes a status and counter signaling game
-how to break out of this?
Post what you want and ignore everyone else
--at any given time, there's only a handful of original thinkers and innovators in any industry who post anything interesting
Everyone copies them, counter posts, and the 5% lead the 95%

@AlexAndBooks_ @p_millerd Just finished these two incredible books.
Starting The Lost City of Z by @DavidGrann next

Reading these books back to back has been such a cool look at how differently two groups of people can respond to similar circumstances.
Shackleton’s crew banded together even when everything seemed totally hopeless while the crew of The Wager completely fell apart and started warring under arguably slightly better conditions.
10/10 recommend both books. Even better when read together.

@AJA_Cortes Agree with all of this except I had excellent results at just .5mg a week for the first 3 weeks.
I then titrated up to .5mg twice a week for a few weeks which was fantastic.
Slowly have worked my way up to 1mg twice a week.
Zero side effects and tremendous benefits.

@FitWealthyU This is exactly why I have every client I work with track for at least a few weeks.
You can’t possibly know your calorie intake if you don’t track for awhile.
It is like never looking at your expenses and income and expecting to manage your finances properly.
English

Cannot stress this enough.
It's impossible to make better decisions with your diet if you're ignorant to your caloric intake. And I *GUARANTEE* that your guesses are wildly wrong, initially. of

If you can't lose weight, you're eating more calories than you think If you can't gain weight, you're eating less calories than you think Start tracking; it will open your eyes

@zeay66 @FoundersPodcast Great decision. The only one I haven’t read yet in the Benjamin Franklin book and it’s next on my list.
Walter Isaacson is an incredible writer
English

@FoundersPodcast Your elon musk review made me buy the book, but then i decided why not just buy the set by Walter Isaacson! My wife’s gonna kill me

@MMAWeeklycom Not sure why it was controversial, Dern won the striking every round. Sure Virna took her down but she didn’t do anything with it.
Thought it was a pretty clear win for Dern
