@RoyalAShepherd Herro being paid as a 3rd option and Bam being dealt at his peak value to flip for another scorer or draft capital in pursuit of another star would’ve been better IMO. Especially with the league catering towards cheaper defensive minded rim run bigs

@nbaplayer1012 Brother, no it wasn’t. It was Tyler and Duncan for Harden that was proposed after the bubble. They weren’t going to invest anything in a Meyers Leonard/Kelly Olynyk frontcourt.

Miami’s downfall is literally tied to their loyalty to Tyler Herro. In this season alone: He disrupted a hot early season start Caused them to bench an all star Forced Ware and Pelle Larson out of the starting lineup impacting development Confirmed he can’t stay healthy

@llspida @WadexFlash Nah I just think we made the colossal mistake of not trading Bam post bubble for a playmaker / picks.. the guy never flashed true #2 potential, add the fact that we overpaid Herro. We rather develop undrafted talent then take swings smh

LeBron James credits Erik Spoelstra for making them better after the 2011 NBA Finals loss: “Obviously my first year there — played great basketball, got all the way to the Finals and lost in the Finals. I played like sh*t. Spo is the reason why we we’re a better team…when we lost to Dallas — that summer Spo went to Oregon and learned the spread offense…when he came back to us he knew in order for us to reach our potential — I had to be f*cking 10x better than I was in that previous June and Chris Bosh had to go to the 5. And CB being who he is — there was no pushback…Spo knew it, he had that vision….he came back with vengeance and I was locked TF in from start to finish…” (via @mindthegamepod)

Wireless Festival is standing by Ye as the festival’s headliner 🚨 Melvin Benn, Managing Director of Festival Republic, which organizes Wireless Festival, has made a statement: "I am a deeply committed anti-fascist and have been all my adult life. I lived on a kibbutz for many months in the 1970’s that was attacked on October 7th, am pro Jew and the Jewish state, while being equally committed to a Palestinian state.  "Having had a person in my life for the last 15 years who suffers from mental illness, I have witnessed many episodes of despicable behaviour that I have had to forgive and move on from. If I wasn’t before, I have become a person of forgiveness and hope in all aspects of my life, including work. "What Ye has said in the past about Jews and Hitler is as abhorrent to me as it is to the Jewish community, the Prime Minister and others that have commented and - taking him at his word - to Ye now also.  "Ye’s music is played on commercial radio stations in this country. It is available via live streams and downloads in this country without comment or vitriol from anyone and he has a legal right to come into the country and to perform in this country. He is intended to come in and perform. We are not giving him a platform to extol opinion of whatever nature, only to perform the songs that are currently played on the radio stations in our country and the streaming platforms in our country and listened to and enjoyed by millions.  "Forgiveness and giving people a second chance are becoming a lost virtue in this ever-increasing divisive world and I would ask people to reflect on their instant comments of disgust at the likelihood of him performing (as was mine) and offer some forgiveness and hope to him as I have decided to do"

@KlutzGPT Increased pace of play has lead to more possessions, increasing stat output. Not downing LeBron but the average pace of play difference between 2000-2010 vs 2017-today is about 7 to 10 possessions/gm, still comical?

Matthew 7:3-5 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” I am so grateful for my salvation through Jesus Christ. God has blessed me in so many ways. I’m thankful that Jaden Ivey is feeling such fervor for the Lord, however we as Christians need to be deliberate in how we work to bring others to faith. We should want to share the Gospel through love, not confrontation. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. It’s important for all to know that each individual — not just one subgroup — of humanity sins daily. That’s the beauty in Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross. We ought to show love and care for those around us as we are not the Judge. These conversations need to stem from care and with genuine love at the core of the discussion.
Fullcourtpass@Fullcourtpass

Internal issues leading to Jaden Ivey’s exit from the Bulls, per @JCowleyHoops - Destroyed the locker room “sanctuary” - Constant preaching made players uncomfortable - Religious rhetoric “pressed” upon teammates daily - Told players who was “righteous and unrighteous” Bulls reportedly viewed the behavior as “weirdness” in the workplace (h/t @TheNBABase)

@NFL_DovKleiman Thankful. Fans need to hear this more often to set proper expectations. It’s important to give the process time to develop. As talent emerges over the next few seasons we can capitalize on the regained cap space to fill in roster needs as is the new norm w/great franchises

Wow: Dolphins GM Jon-Eric Sullivan explains why the team traded away star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle. "We have to get younger and cheaper. Jaylen is 27 years old, and he's going to want a new contract. The WR market is going up. We get to put two players on rookie contracts. I felt like it was a win for both teams." It's so cool to see this type of transparency 👀

The people rallying behind Jaden Ivey claiming he’s being persecuted must have forgotten about the Orlando Magic’s Jonathan Isaac, who is anti-BLM, didn’t stand for the national anthem when his teammates took a knee, developed a clothing line that he said was an alternative to “woke” companies like Nike (his words), publicly criticized the White House under Joe Biden for Transgender Visibility Day and even spoke at Charlie Kirk’s Believer’ Summit. Still cashing NBA checks.

Unpopular opinion… I might lose followers for this. Why does one group get a whole MONTH… when everyone else gets a DAY? Even Jesus gets one day. I’m with Jaden Ivey on this one. Say it. Don’t say it. But a lot of people are thinking it. We need to be loud and stand with Jaden!

@Jacobtheclipper I don’t think it’s that at all. The great commission is importantly — YES! But whether you plant the seed or harvest it, the most important factor is HOW one shares the news. We’re all imperfect — right now ppl see him projecting a holier than thou image

“Jaden Ivey should not have called people sinners and been so hateful.” -The push back on here Some of the IG comments I don’t think he did it in the best manner, but I know he has good intentions. If you are a follower of Jesus, you are called to preach the gospel (the good news of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and bringing us restoration to God) The gospel says ALL men are sinners and NEED a Savior- that Savior is Jesus. This includes Jaden, this includes myself! Now, if you see a man in a burning building, unaware the building is on fire, and you walk past without alerting him, are you a good person? Of course not, I would argue you are an evil person. Ivey and EVERY Christian, if you believe what Jesus taught, should tell everyone the gospel message. If we don’t, then we are hateful. The gospel is GOOD news that saves someone from an eternity away from God (Hell), which is torture because all good things come from God and we are designed to be near Him in Heaven. Don’t let people spin this and call a man trying to help people and save people as evil. Listen to his own words, his message was always rooted in love 🙏🏻

I actually think the Bucks lose this trade, they could extract so much more from the Rockets in the scenario Houston wanted Giannis. I just think this trade does nothing to actually solve the problems of the team while killing the outlook of the team. We lose now and later.
