Seems unlikely. NIU and UTEP were desperation additions because MWC was in danger. NDSU brought value with brand, fan base, success. NIU and NDSU give MWC two Central time zone teams, which is enough for TV window purposes. Additions going forward will have to add value IMO.

MW needed money but also didn't want a team with no success. I don't believe ndsu brings any significant brand or audience

@McFeely_Inforum That explains why you think ndsu has a national brand. Get outside of the Midwest. These two schools are irrelevant on the national stage outside of those that have followed FCS or ncaa hockey. Having heard of a school does not mean a school has a national brand.

UND does have a national brand in college hockey. One of the best, historic programs in the sport.

@SchlossmanGF I'd love to see college hockey be the first to implement an over-and-back rule in OT. Make it a 1 minute, reviewable penalty.
