I agree with the author’s summation of the narrative.
In those 2 games, JJ won NFCOPW by beating the division champs on the road, then suffered severe hi-ankle sprain in 3Q (he played thru it and shouldnt have).
After that, some decided the NFL’s youngest QB1’s career was over.

Moss ended up having a 23-TD season with the #Patriots, while Favre threw for over 4,100 yards and 28 TDs. Instead of Moss catching touchdowns from Tom Brady in New England, he nearly ended up in Green Bay catching bombs from Favre at Lambeau. That offense would have been absolutely terrifying and would have completely changed the outlook of the league forever.
