@ShaunsEyeView @MaryTilesTexas Colloquially space is the point above the earth where theres only micro gravity and mostly vacuum. You are being pedantic while pretending you are refuting her obvious point.

@MaryTilesTexas This is more of a rational vs. irrational debate. We could fly to the moon, land, screw around then come back several times 60 years ago. Now it’s an AMAZING accomplishment 60 years later to do a fly by. Yes we are going to the moon but we’ve never landed on it.

@newstart_2024 Women make up 55% of medical students and 56% of law school students. Maybe women have more ambition or else they are smarter.

Once institutions reach 50% women, they rarely stop there. Helen Andrews points out that many fields keep feminizing — 52%, 55%, 56%… and in psychology, it’s now 75% female graduate students. It’s not just women out-competing men and hitting natural balance. As environments become more feminized, they often start feeling unwelcoming to men: different conversation styles, more gossip and factions, less tolerance for certain kinds of debate. Men quietly leave, especially those drawn to the harder, more analytical sides of the field, which accelerates the shift. The cycle becomes self-reinforcing. Andrews suggests the only way to reverse it may be deliberately carving out spaces where men can work and debate in a more masculine way — without apology. It’s an uncomfortable but honest observation about how institutions quietly change character over time. Do you see this pattern playing out in fields you’re familiar with? Is there a healthy way to push back without turning everything into a gender war?

Here I am in October 2024 laying out the evidence to @IanCarrollShow that Trump was NOT a peace president during his first term, and specifically mentioning the hints that Trump would bomb Iran if given a second term.

@MandalaKing312 @MVancityea21079 @IanCarrollShow I mean people should stop following them. Stop financing them. Stop donating. Instead, people who got it wrong are being boosted and praised like they are prophets when they got Trump horribly wrong - including Smith, Rogan, Carlson etc

This moment will haunt Pam Bondi for the rest of her life. It has been memed into infinity, because it so perfectly captures the craven, humiliating failure that was her tenure as Attorney General.

@aapayes The biggest giveaway for ai right now is how it has the sound of the explosion and the visual occur at the same time. It will be fixed in the next round of updates though. 😂

I support Trump firing Pam Bondi. Do you? I hope the next AG will release all the Epstein files according to the law and follow up with investigations, prosecutions, and arrests.

BREAKING: Pam Bondi has been fired as attorney general, according to Fox News. EPA Director Lee Zeldin is reportedly under consideration to replace her. According to Fox, President Trump met in the Oval Office with Bondi before his speech last night. "One of those sources said that by the time Trump took his place behind the podium for the address, Bondi had already lost her job and was on her way back to Florida," Fox News reported. Bondi's firing comes after she was heavily criticized for the handling of the Epstein files.

Artemis II liftoff: cell phone video, kept running for the sound, which is…wow, just, wow. Sorry, I didn’t pan up; this was a last minute decision and I propped it on a still camera. I’m actually surprised the vibrations didn’t knock it to the ground.

@moreyraortho @SawyerMerritt @SpaceX Absolutely. I was bummed a little at the camera issues but soacex launches rockets constantly, theyve had a ton of practice and seem to out a premium on the broadcast. Tye main thing is the mission is going smoothly!

NASA’s Artemis II livestream really makes you appreciate @SpaceX’s launch broadcasts. Bad camera tracking, no onboard cameras, countdown timer disappeared, NASA even showed people in the crowd instead of stage separation lol. The screen also blacked out twice during the first 10 seconds of the launch.

There are some people who cling to 1 good policy vote because they can’t admit being wrong about someone. They’ll ignore and make excuses for the COMPLETE ABSENCE of shits given about Epstein during the 4 years before Trump 47 and will make excuses for him. They will ignore the votes to raise the debt ceiling under Biden and will make excuses for that. They want so badly for him to be an altruistic politician that they will even ignore his campaign being funded BY SOCIALISTS. It’s sad, really.
