Manfred is correct that a large majority of draftees come from college, but a lot of that 70-75% is underslot lower-ceiling guys so teams can attempt to sign as many high school guys as possible without going over spending limits. Teams would probably love to sign more preps!

Everyone close to the sport knew how bad this was and how deep it ran. There was never a doubt. The players were/are getting mocked in NFL locker rooms if they made it there. Coaches have been banned/blacklisted or fled to NFL. Now that the administration & leadership knew & actively hid it…..what a shit show. I said when this was happening, this would end up ruining careers, now we’re there. Santa Ono & Manuel won’t ever work again. The majority of the staff are selling used cars. This will be Harbaugh’s last job. All for a few wins that no one will count anyway. Sad Michigan Cheated

Martin Shelar to the Red Sox is a match made in heaven, as Boston reverse loaded their slot value in the draft. I also really like their R10 pick in Kaleb LaFavor. Massive size on the mound (and certainly still growing) with a huge sweeping SW, and depth creating CH.

1.18 Justin Lebron - We saw him in Omaha and came away very divided. He is a great athlete and can really defend, but the footwork gets lazy at times. The raw power and athleticism are intriguing, but the low z-con and chase on spin are concerning.
