1/2 Recap: We graduated our 3rd cohort of herbal medicine practitioners on 7 November, this training is part of Uganda’s ongoing effort to professionalize & modernize traditional medicine by equipping practitioners with skills in research, formulation, ethics, & standardization.

1/3 Yesterday we welcomed an international delegation led by Kimberly Krautter from the United States, representing a consortium of investors interested in supporting further research and development of a herbal remedy discovered by Ugandan herbalist Mr. Ssenfuka David.

This hands-on experience deepened their understanding of plant identification, ethnobotanical uses, and the conservation of medicinal flora, an essential component in the development of traditional medicine in Uganda.
