A lot of my friends won't like this, and that's OK. I love you guys.
When we were in school, we were taught that doctors are the leaders of the medical team.
I held that with a huge sense of responsibility and privilege.
But somewhere along the line, I found out that everyone started clamouring for equal authority without the same degree of responsibility and accountability.
The stakes are simply not the same across board, and pretending otherwise hasn't helped anyone, at least, not our patients.

Mind you before Pharm D became mainstream, the doctors and nurses were bridging the gap.
When pharmacists were less involved in ward work, the doctors and nurses were looking out for medication errors and the likes. So why TF are you on here talking out of your ass

One day a radiographer,sonographer etc will try sacking radiologist from accessing their own units Cus them go get PhD 😘😂 They will tell us we are lazy and shouldn't be reviewing scans MRIs etc. We should leave it all to them

Very correct. A first class engineering student will end up being just an average student in med school. In Engineering, a very smart student can crash read for a few days and still pass excellently. If that same person tries it in med school, he would fail woefully

Our unit House officer filmed a whole transition of her scrubbing for a case, only for her to scrub out before case was finished because she wanted to faint from hypoglycaemia... I don laugh am tire.... The transition video is bomb though....
