@KyleK21 @emilyehman I'm guessing it had to deal with time. When SEC did it last year, they ran into issues when multiple games went 4 or 5 sets. Last match of the day then ends real late. Or you punish teams by starting them at 9am. Neither option is good for the players, or TV.

The construction work inside John Cook Arena is already underway. Both end areas have the seats removed and the All-American names were taken down. It will really get going next week after state boys basketball tournament. The Nebraska locker room is also curtained off.

States that incentivize illegal immigration should not gain extra seats in Congress or additional Electoral College votes. Even Democrats have admitted that illegal immigration benefits them during redistricting. I’m co-sponsoring the Equal Representation Act to stop counting illegal immigrants in the census. We must protect fair and equal representation for Nebraskans.

Feels like the infosec scene on social media is drying up for some reason. My infosec list is mostly cat pics and a few blog posts now. Makes me wonder if people are just sucked in to AI at the moment. And before anyone cries bluesky at me, I checked and for the most part it's a bunch of dead accounts and political takes over there also.

@PeteRicketts Weekly paychecks are going up because of laws increasing the minimum wage.

Under Joe Biden, inflation rose faster than wages. Nebraskans were left behind because paychecks could not keep up with prices. Now, that’s finally beginning to turn around. Wages are growing faster than prices since President Trump took office. With the Working Families Tax Cuts, families will also be keeping more of their paychecks this year. It’s real progress, but we still have work to do. I will keep fighting to make life more affordable for Nebraska families.
